You can up here in Alaska too, just this morning I was in Arby's eating and some dude walked in with a should holster on. The only law is that they cannot be carried in federal buildings and a background check has to be done. Other than that, no registration, no need for a carry license, no laws after you buy the weapon. I believe Vermont is the same way.

In china there is a 3 per 100 person gun ownership rate. I think the AK is a socialist weapon, made to send a collective of soldiers out in the field in attack mode.
A well-regulated militia is more like a collection of individuals shooting at lower ranges at higher accuracy in building combat. Surely in those environments M-16, M-15 are far superior to a top-down commanded militia with AKs.
If the end fight is in Washington D.C., I recommend semi-automatic assault rifles of good quality, like Colt or Marlin, to us.

You can up here in Alaska too, just this morning I was in Arby's eating and some dude walked in with a should holster on. The only law is that they cannot be carried in federal buildings and a background check has to be done. Other than that, no registration, no need for a carry license, no laws after you buy the weapon. I believe Vermont is the same way.

Most gun crimes are not done with legal weapons. You cant compare deathrates amongst countries like that. Theres too many factors, US has a lot of immigrants(not that theres anything wrong with that), drug trade, the number of poor people etc.

I think the problems in Mexico goes deeper than smuggled guns from the north. Its interesting you should mention the failed war on drugs though, this war should be a prime example of how useless the governments are at upholding their own laws. They cant make a perfect seal on the border, or be in control of everyones actions. So why the big faith in central government?

Its more centered around hunting weapons, but they are nonetheless tools: They do not hold separate personalities, they are controlled by whoever is holding them, and no more dangerous than whoever is holding them. Ive been shooting since age six (in Norway), and I'm pretty much the most harmless person anyone ever saw.

I had gotten them mixed up at first, but when I watched closely, and saw the video from a second angle (which was interupted by an SEIU thug punching the camerawoman) it made more sense. The SEIU guy in the blue shirt wasn't getting attacked, but rather the guy in the tan shirt was. When the footage started, he was trying to stand up, but gets thrown onto the curb again.

That wasn't an SEIU guy, that was a group of SEIU thugs beating down a button vendor. Why'd they do it? Well, one of the thugs who attacked him called him a n***er, and then try to steal his buttons. The SEIU guy who was on the ground slipped and fell when he was stomping the button vendor, and SEIU used that footage to show how apparently violent the conservative protesters are.

That's what I've seen. I'm trusting my eyes, there, and while it didn't seem to make sense at first, after a few watches, and realizing that they didn't get the whole altercation in the video that's going around. There's a second video, shot by a woman towards the right, who gets punched by another SEIU member.
Having been injured a few times before myself, yeah, that's perfectly reasonable that someone could walk away from something with serious injuries.

People like the one in this video fail to see that crimes involving guns apply to criminals only. Trying to restrict a criminal by more laws is an oxy moron. If you restrict guns from law abiding citizens isn't it obvious that the criminals way of life just gets easier? I realize perfectly well that mostly all guns are purchased legally in the beginning but do to theft or whatever reasons may become unlawful. I also understand a law abiding citizen can become a criminal. Like I was saying earlier violence and the criminal mind will thrive with or without guns. Without guns we know violence and crime will only intensify if we look at history. We record history for a reason people use it... research for yourself I am not trying to tell you how to think.

Either way, Mexico has strict gun laws AND high violent crimes and an open flow of illegal weapons. The majority of which are not directly coming from the US because many of the arms they are confiscating from the Cartel cannot be legally owned by civilians in the US. (grenades, grenade launchers, LAW rocket launchers, etc) When you disarm the law abiding, you ONLY disarm the law abiding. What good does that do?
