  • YOU SOUND BETTER THAN I DO WITH SIX STRINGS . IMPRESSIVE !! LOVED IT !! SHOWING WHAT A DULCIMER CAN DO IN THE RIGHT HANDS !!

  • Saturday night at the nursing home all-right! Ha Ha! Actually a nice version

  • Saturday night at the nursing home all-right!

  • Exquisitely beautiful for the 100th time. Thank you so much.

  • A much better cover of Richard Thompson's song than Del McCoury's "Hee Haw" arrangement and awful vocals!

  • Wow, on a dulcimer. Fantastic.

  • After the second string broke-you were like,"F--- it, let's see if I can break the rest!" Great Stuff!

  • Correction to my last post: make those times 1:47 and 4:04, I guess.

  • Heard one string pop maybe around 1:50? The one at 4:07 was amazing---how does one pop a middle string?

Brilliant performance before and after the accidents!

  • keep on playin' and easy on the strings!!!

  • this is a nice version of this song

  • Wow... I've only known a couple dulcimer players and that is not what I would have expected .. Frickken awesome!!!!!

  • If I didn't know any better I'd say the broken was meant to be a part of the song, like it was slowing you down and needed to get rid of it to go faster! Very inspiring, thanks.

  • LOL! I'll take that. Thanks!

  • Wonderful!

As someone thring to learn the appalacian dulcimer in the UK I'd crawl over broken glass for the tabs on this!

  • Email me, I'll send it to ya. You know about Nonsuch's Launde Abbey weekend in Oct. right? I'll be over there Oct. 1-11

  • I first thought it was just going to be yet "Another" in a too long line of uninspired covers of this song, but I was delighted to find that you managed to keep the soul of the song yet give it new wings to fly in a different direction. I fairly thought the instrument was going to burst into flames near the end. Bloody Well Done!

  • bona fide! (Latin = good faith.. the real thing!!)

    not 'bonified' (no such word)

  • Good job!

  • Nice touch with the sandals, please never wear socks, you'll loose all credibility I swear!!

    love the cover =)

  • Brilliant. Thank you. Please post a schedule of your performances. I'd love to see you in person. Already you improved the quality of my life.

  • Very good performance but the national treasure (RT) belongs to UK!

  • Beautiful. Just beautiful

  • This is the best interpretation of 1952 VBL I've seen.

  • That was the most amazing playing I've ever seen on a dulcimer. Thank you. More! More!

  • Thank you so much for saying so!

  • loveed it m8 totally your own song. well done (Y)

  • Thank you very much!

  • Lovely to to hear a dulcimer version of what is becoming a classic song.

  • Thank you too. And everybody else who's posted below. I appreciate it.

  • Great stuff, 4 and a half minutes well spent.

  • Hey, I like that !! A good alternative version of a much copied song. Nice one.
