Also, I am playing Final fantasy 7 and I heard cloud talking about this but he never mentioned Zack. He said that he confronted Sephiroth himself. Cloud has never shown any scars either from where Sephiroth stabbed him. will he talk about this later in the game I am playing? What happens after this? does Zack save Cloud?

I'm level 24 I think I can beat him I died the first time but I then win. Just keep curing yourself and dodging attacks, when he does his special then just cure yourself immediately

Sephiroth should have some sort of reflect materia that would stop anybody from spamming thunder like you did. Yet again, I level grinded to the point when I was level 53 by the time I fought Sephiroth. Took me about 7 minutes before I beat Sephiroth the second time.

i can't figure this out!! in the first ff7, sephiroth's strongest attack is super nova. in dissidia, his strongest attack is super nova. in crisis core, THE FAN CLUB KNOWS THAT HIS STRONGEST ATTACK IS SUPER NOVA!! so why does he use octaslash?!?!

@quackers31 I'm sure Octaslash is probably just a demonstration of Sephiroth's power and swordsmanship. As for why he isn't using Super Nova; Maybe he hasn't yet tapped into his full Godly power yet. Think about how epic Super Nova was in FFVII. He destroyed entire planets, then bathed in the intense heat of the sun itself as it reached towards the party! If I recall, in FFVII, Most of Sephroth's power came from Materia. And he was a hell of a lot more powerful after he died. Obi-Wan Kenobi!

I thought Cloud raped Sephiroth with the buster sword...I could have swore in FF7 Cloud has a flashback of this but he stabs Sephiroth. I dunno, it could have been at that point when Cloud was swapping his and Zack's story around. Maybe I'm wrong, oh well.

IT'S SEPHIROTH!! the one who will almost win to destroy us all!! a wutai grunt was more agresive than him.. on hard mode, all he do is stronger attack, and lot more of HP.. but he still make one attack every 3 hours.. anyway.. FF7 CC is my favorite game on PSP =)

@CloudStrifeZX there is an Item, I don't remember the name, that let you have more than 9999 HP. I used that against him, I didn't really have a problem. I also use a lot of hi-potion in this fight. really, he's nothing to be scared of.

neither are clones. Sephiroth thinks he is a clone but he isn't. Actually it is found that he is vincent son when you find out vincents story. Hojo was in love with a woman but she ended up carrying vincnet baby, so hojo got vincent and did experiments on him and his son. His son being sephiroth. Cloud isn't a clone either he had a dramatic moment when zack died and possible fomr his blood as well that cause him to retain zacks memories and abilities.

Anything Angeal copied turned into a monster. Zack is far from a monster, nor did he has a wing or any other abilities unattainable via mako infusion.

Honestly, that's part of the reason I like Zack so much. He was a normal guy who worked his ass off to get to the toy onile everyone else who was already there more or less "cheated". They all had various cells added to them, yet Zack was an equal with only mako. Says a lot about him imo.

it's one of those battles you HAVE to lose for the shake of the storyline and without the battle it would make it seem more like a movie(which this isn't)so it's better to play it yourself rather then watch some long ass cutsene

I beat this guy on the first try withouth using magic whatsoever and being at a lower level than him. His attacks will be very very weak if you cast barrier at the start of the fight. He was the easiest one out of Angeal and Genesis.
