  • how does this hack get 50 k views and can't get shit aha

  • I went from shooting 78s all day to not able to play cuz of shanks within the last week, but this still made me Lol

  • i hope there is a bowling alley close by...youre obviously done with golf.

  • i doubt your any good bro.

  • stand closer to the ball.

  • hahahahahah nice swing, dont think you could get much closer to the ball

  • was that a joke or was that ur actual swing because if that was a real i would quit golf right now

  • JJ your just standing too close to the ball stand back and feel as if you are reaching for the ball.

  • standing too upright, swing too flat equals shank.

  • waaay too flat. the club head is behind your feet on the takeaway. not too good.

  • And here's peter kostis with the biz hub swing vision camera. Peter?

  • way too close, swing is too flat, comes from inside way too much, result? shank.

  • hahahahahahahahaha if you were any closer to the ball, it would be behind you

  • @thecaddyspace

    lmao

  • if you don't make it past the ladies tee, it's your shout at the 19th!

  • Too close to the ball. Right arm way too stiff, and #1 flaw, you're twisting the arms during the takeaway, bringing the clubhead way too much to the inside (around the body too early) going back.

  • SHOT!!!!!! LOL!!

  • Everything about that from the setup to the takeaway to the downswing is horrendous. Take up knitting instead.

  • yeah its the set up your handle should be pointing at your hip line at set up

  • get your hands higher, easier to bring hands back in front of u

  • who the fuk is jj?

  • stance is too upright

  • take one step bag and turn more tahn it will work better ^^

  • Set up position is all wrong, far too rigid and upright at adress, try standing farther away from the ball and make a full swing. And tempo, It's all about TEMPO! :)

  • you need to speed your swing up a little. you are definitely swinging way too slow.

  • @scottn999

    Lol!

  • slow those hips down speed racer

  • haha that fuckin made my day hilarious

  • you're too tensed up

relax your grip to the point that it might fall out of hands

stop at the top for a split second, look at the ball and then accelerate because your swing looks okay. oh and move farther from the ball

  • your set up is all off............fix this first.bend back more and relax muscles in arm while keeping straight

  • fukin comical i love it!!!!

  • Any closer to the ball and it will be behind you.Your posture isn't too bad i think your just gettting inside out cause your too close..you deffinitely have all the tools in the bag for success so keep it up.

  • damn bend your knees

  • lol unlucky i fink ya swing needs refinin

  • too close to ball and dos'nt move his hips very much

  • I high-arc set up with an incredibly shallow-arc swing. Good luck making that one work. Yikes!

  • A* high-arc...

  • Just caught your other videos. Compare them to this, your head posture is much better in the others. Posture is critical. I would make it your no. 1 swingthought.

  • You are dipping on backswing. Lift your chin up at address. (Stand against a wall and have your bottom, shoulders and head touching the wall, memorise your chin position). You will need to look down more with your eyes. Try this and then post a video with your new shank proof swing. Good Luck!

  • test

  • he also doesn't need to be so close and take a little longer of a backswing.

  • Those irons look too upright for you making you whip the club away too flat. Got the lie angle flattened by your pro.

  • Stiff shoulders/arms. You cold? Step back, drop your hands, relax, swing the instrument. The clubhead will follow the correct path if you let it.

  • Way too close to the ball

  • far out u idiots. the reason he is shanking is because his left knee is breaking too early. look at it at 10 seconds when the club is about parralel - the left knee shud not of began 2 move until this point. after the club has reached paralel then allow the knee 2 move. practice holding the knees still (in set up position) until club reaches paralel n i quaranty it the shanking will stop.

  • look that's not all. he is very flat with his plain at the top. and yes, he does break his knee too early. being that flat and breaking your knee will cause a shank. when being that flat you can't get back around in time and the force of the club from taking it inside and being flat like that will cause your arms to move out and away from your body aligning the shank of the club to the ball.

  • lol the famous shank!!! stand further away mate....and take a full back swing!

  • AHAHHAHAHAH

  • I recently cured my shank and your doing the exact same thing i did, you adressing the ball way to close causeing you to hit the ball with the heel. stand further away and line the ball up on the middle of the club

  • hahaha swing like a toilet chain? what the heck are you talking about!?! do toilet chains play golf? im interested!

  • your hand is to pulled back at the backswing. Your kind of hitting like a driver. Remember, an iron swing is more upright than a driver swing. Get your hands more upright and remember to cock the wrists not to late.

  • First of all you're too close. Secondly relax some. Thirdly the butt end of the club is pointing way out right at 12 secs. Concentrate on getting it more down the line.

  • you are standing to close to the ball and you are to flat in your backswing. ( watch the 11 second your club is to flat but the hands are in good position.

    good luck

  • you lifted your right foot too soon!!

  • too close

    hands too high

    TOO MUCH TENSION

    relaxxxxxxxxxx

clubface dead shut at the top

other than that ... looks .... ok ;)

  • Man that is one chronic hosel rocket you've hit there!

  • your all wrong.....im a touring pro on the nationwide.....he is standing toooooooo close.....you need to give yourself space to rotate and release!!!

  • no u arent ur from england the only tour u can get on is the terrible set of teeth tour...

  • ....true wit from who i can only assume is the only half wit in the US. Believe it or not mate...im a grad from northwestern 2 years ago and am working on getting my card. Just because i am english doesnt mean i cant be playing on the nationwide.....you pillock. Yes im english and yes you are a mug me ol' mucker.....you'll know it s me when you see me on the PGA Tour......i will be the one showing u the "V"....mitch......u sound like somethin out of save by the bell.

  • shanks a lot

  • Cure for your disease...concentrate on where your hands, hips, and club need to go (rotate left, not at the target) and it will leave more room down below so you are able to lengthen the radius from your spine without jeapordizing the clubhead impact zone.

  • shanks for the memories.

  • Good luck with your game. You could, given how fit you obviously are, give up golf for a REAL sport, like rugby.

  • standing wayyyy too tall.

  • errr dont listen to these fruits. just go get a leson

  • minging mate sorry u cock the wrists too early take the club AWAAAAY from you not around:D and swing up no more shanks

  • when u take the club back it should be inside the triangle ur arms create halfway back. if the club is in the triangle u should be ok. ur too flat going back. good luck

  • I see your problem, your playing golf

  • What kind of camera and video system took this?

  • takeaway is too flat... heel is ahead of the toe... arms look way too stiff

  • You're standing way too close to the ball!

  • You are moving you weight too far forward which brings the hosel to the ball rather than the clubface. Try and keep your weight on your back foot and feel your left hand side turning not dragging forward. Also stand another 3 inches away from the ball.

  • Good swing.. except for the shank.

  • Stand further away from the ball. Your club is set too upright. You have a flat swing plane, need to make your setup match this flat plane. You shanked because you don't have enough room to get the club back down to the ball. Right off the heel.

  • for a quick fix, bend from the hips so u dont stand so upright, relax your shoulders because they look SUPER tense at your setup - and you should feel like your reaching a dat bit more at adress

  • Your standing to close to the ball, put your arms on your chest take position and try again.

Keep up the work you'r get there.

    Grtz a PGA pro

  • your clubhead got inside the hands really fast, it should stay outside the hands. you are also standing too close to the ball.

  • Someone needs to add the string music from the Tiger Woods commercial to this

    LOL.

  • I agree

  • this is the best video on youtube....seriously...nothing has made me laugh more

  • standing too close to ball
