i use my laptop to play CTR. i know that R=R1 , Z = x/drive , E = look behind you, S = triangle, D= change map to speed gauge, W=the same as R since W and R make you hop/jump AND X = release missiles and bombs and potions etc.. HOWEVER i want to the power slide but i dont know what key corresponds to L1 since you need both R1 and L1 to do powerslide. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT KEYS TO PRESS.

how do you input this code correctly? I've been trying to race against all the characters that normally aren't seen racing during arcade gameplay, and example is n.tropy is 2, 3 papu, 4, penta, etc. However the game freezes up just before the race starts- but the code works when its a 1 on 1 match- like cortex, against N.tropy in boss garages only.

I have a NTSC version of crash team racing, playstation to play it on, and a gameshark version 5 for the playstation.

I tried to use these gameshark codes on my PSX Emulator and the Nitros Oxide code worked (of course) but when I made CPU player 2 and CPU player 3 play as Fake Crash (P2) and Penta Penguin (P3) their sprites were wrecked and ultimately the game crash after a few moments of play. Does anyone by chance know why this happened and how to fix this problem. (P.S. I'm using the PSX emulator, I'm using the actual NTSC PS1 CTR CD game to play the emulator. The Nitros Oxide code works perfectly BTW)

You don't need gameshark codesto unlock characters BTW. You can either beat the gem cups or use a normal button code. And it is possible to play 8 players if you have got two multitaps. =D
