I had done a second round and lost about 5 more lbs, and put on more muscle, then leaned out with Insanity after that, and lost about 10 more lbs. Went from 160 lbs to 110. Hi! I just purchased the P90X dvd's and took a look at the nutrition section. Seems like a LOT of food! I would be a level 1 but at 5'2" and 115lbs 1800 calories seems like a lot but I don't know because I've never counted calories before. Did you adjust this at all? Thanks!
@jstewart6545 Alot of people think that it's a ton of food, if they are not used to eating that much. BUT TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS-you need to eat that much food for the program to be effective. The food is healthy, and it is FUEL for the workouts. If you don't eat enough-you won't push hard enough-and your results will suffer. Eat the food!!! :)
isabelean- did you have a low calorie diet in order to start losing fat weight?? I'm 5"3' 131# and on week two of Insanity along with an hour of weight lifting, some cardio circuits and running; what else should i be doing to speed up the fat loss?? Thanks!
@Fitdiva7 I actually had to UP my caloric intake to really start burning fat and gaining muscle. If you restrict calories, you won't get as good results because of all the hard work you are doing. Your body will hold on to fat as fuel, instead of using the food you eat as fuel. So make sure you are eating enough! :) The nutrition guides are pretty spot on-so go ahead and follow those. @ginooRio I followed the nutrition guide that came with the P90X system. It teaches you how to eat for "life" not just for 90 days. It's really simple and you are never hungry! :)

@88FL you won't bulk up sweety :). women fortunately do no have enought testosterone in their systems like guys do, so women get sleek sexy muscles when they lift weights. :) You'll do great and you'll look/feel awesome! <3

@shebakescakes if you look on the infomercial clip on my channel, you can see some more before pics on there. The first time I did P90X was about 4 months after the birth of my second child...almost 2 years ago. and I still use it and incoporate it into my new routines with Insanity, Brazil Butt lift, etc. I just mix it all together and always try to up my weights to keep the results coming :).

Some people do,and in order to keep the results up,they just lift heavier weights. They have a follow up program,P90X+ that you can hybrid with the regular P90X, and it's super hard. That's what I did, twice through, and I upped my weight on everything. I'm in better than what you see above. I've been also doing Insanity mixed in with it, so the change is always there, therefore results will always be there.There is also a maintenance program listed in P90X if you want to stay where you are at.
I too am 5 foot 4 and weigh just under 150 your video is very motivational. I've been active my whole life but since the end of high school (about 3 years ago) I let myself go and have gained about 20 pounds. I'm on day 9 of p90x and hope I get results even close to yours! thanks for posting and congrats on being in the new infomercial. Question, did you do classic and still lose all that weight?? AWESOME results!! I have been doing P90X for about 6 weeks now. I had a baby 4 months ago and needed dot get into shape fast. I started at 186 and I now weigh 159. I am soooo happy with the weight loss but I am also 5'4 so I would love to be at your weight of 120-125. I am hoping by the end of the 90 days I will be close! what work out did you do? I am on the lean work out and I do an extra 2 hours of cardio also. If you have any advice please share with me! thanks
I did P90X, and I still had like almost 10 lbs to lose, so that's when I did P90X+ and Insanity. You might wanna just hop on the "classic" schedule. don't be afraid of muscle! It shapes you and makes you tighter and smaller, as a woman. :)

fortunately when I ordered p90x, my 2 year membership was about to expire, so they let me cancel without a penalty fee.
