  • Dam, I keep having to repeat your video to understand it haha so much scientific fact to keep up with! Either tat or the 6 beers I've had are making an effect one me hehe :D

  • @albusai nope but zeus was there

  • 360 millions years ago? ahhahah you guys where there ?

  • @albusai but surely 2011 years ago you were there to see someone beeing stapled to a cross.

  • So god does need TIME to produce something, and he need to see his creation to come to the conclusion that it's good ?

    Was he expecting failures ?

Wasn't he capable of knowing beforehand that his creation would be good.

  • I don't want to bash Your video in any way. I just wanted to point out that at 4:17, You say the earth would plunge into darkness, when the light was created on day one.

I'm not saying, that I believe it to be truth. Only that You can't say, that there was no light in the creation fairytale at that time.

  • Even with no words to describe bacteria, it would have made a lot more sense to say something like "tiny, simple, plants" or "tiny, simple, creatures" (not sure what the Hebrew words for those are). It would have been ambiguous, but at least not directly contradictory to how the world actually is.

  • Brilliant video, truly excellent, but one minor point, it's "herbs" not "erbs," we're not french :P

  • In respect to the Israelite writing Genesis not know about sino bacterium, was not the Bible the inspired word of God, even if the writer had not knowledge of these bacterium, shouldn't have God told him to jot them down in the book?

  • @0riole11 That's my take as well. So what if the ancient writers didn't know of these things? The inspiring Author sure did, right? And, by inspiring these sort of details, he would have assured that we today would know the book could only have come from a divine author. Just like if he had inspired a creation story which aligned with reality!

  • Religions were born out of ignorance, superstition and fear that plagued mankind in its infancy. It has long since outgrown any usefulness it ever had and should be abandoned by all modern critical thinking people on the planet.

  • Given your rather vehement objection to anyone who disagrees with the content of your videos, I doubt you have the capacity to take my comments in the manner which they are intended. I hope you don't demonstrate yet another knee-jerk reaction and mouth off at my stance, I have attempted to convey my thoughts in an educated and articulate manner, hopefully befitting the content of your well-thought, but incorrect, videos. Believe me, God exists.

  • @absoluteresolute. You are making the claim that this god is real, so prove it.

  • ..it makes perfect sense that God created animals and humans with many similar physiological features. It is of interest to note that some mammals, including some primates, have quite developed amygdalas, yet without the cognitive capacity we possess to fully process emotions produced by their amygdala/hippocampus. I suppose it could be argued that human brain evolution is yet further proof for the evolutionary theory, and that is something else I could write numerous posts debating (tbc)

  • @absoluteresolute Or humans simply share a common ancestor.

  • All of these mechanisms serve to regulate our bodily temperatures - as is common amongst many mammals, including primates. The fact that we experience goosebumps does not prove irrevocably that we are derived from a common primate ancestor. If that were the case, why then don't primates shed tears when they experience emotion? I'm not saying that animals aren't capable of experiencing and expressing emotion, but they don't do so via tears. From a Christian perspective, (tbc)..

  • ..to shed tears as an emotional reaction. BUT many other animals, including some reptiles, shed tears as protection for their eyes. How then can you connect the dots between erect hairs on primates and humans and label it proof of evolution? Goosebumps in humans serve to increase skin temperature, and bodily temperature, through the muscle contracture. So does shivering. So does bodily temperature homeostasis mechanisms diverting blood from skin surface capillaries to deeper tissues (tbc).

  • Obviously you are an intelligent person and advocate the benefits of empirical research - how then can you justify the logic of labelling one human dual physiological response (goosebumps due to emotion and external stimulus) as proof of evolution, and ignore another dual physiological respons (tears, also due to emotion and external stimulus). From what I can gather (animal biology is not my speciality), humans are the only creatures on Earth to shed tears for (sorry, still to be continued..)

  • The contraction of muscles attached to individual hairs on humans (goosebumps) does not prove the theory of evolution. Muscle contracture on the skin occurs for 2 reasons - reaction of external stimulus (ie. cold), physiological response to emotion (ie. fear). The "goosebump" reaction for both external stimulus and emotional response is the same, much like the formation of tears as an emotional response and reaction of external stumuli (wind). (to be continued, damn character limit)

  • @absoluteresolute This format is not appropriate for our discussion. I've sent you a PM to continue. Suffice to say you have hardly done justice to the question being asked. I look forward to continuing our conversation in much more conducive format.

  • (character limit)...... "debate".

  • Blocking someone who disagrees with your content in civil manner, and now using abusive language at me for pointing out your immature and dogmatic attitude- what a charming individual you are. Perhaps you have spent so much of your life in front of your computer you have forgotten social niceties? I pity your family. Oh and I'll respond to your goosebump fixation once I'm at home and off my iPhone. No doubt you'll keep your blocking threat apparent at the slightest hint of polite, rational deba

  • @absoluteresolute I'm waiting.....You off your iPhone yet?

  • Real mature to block someone merely because they disagree with your theories.. you've lost any remaining credibility.

  • @absoluteresolute Oh bullshit. Laco was blocked because he refused to answer the question I posed to him, not because he "disagreed with my theories." The guy was nothing more than a Christian troll. Perhaps you have the cajones to answer the question still remaining on the table? Let's see how much credibilty you have: Given the creationist "model," why do human beings have goosebumps?

  • read the original hebrew of genesis, or the bible for that matter. no mistakes there son.

  • @Hate4Atheism Heheh...is that right? So, the "original" Hebrew of Genesis actually discusses creation in exact parallel with modern scientific discovery and the hundreds of professional translators, the ones reading the Hebrew (it's impossible to read the "originals" since they don't exist so you can't possibly be referring to THEM because even you've never seen them) just can't seem to get that parallel reflected in modern English? Is that SERIOUSLY what you are trying to argue?

  • @brettppalmer Oh yeah, full scientific explanations for everything. I believe there is even a rough sketch of the internal combustion engine that Adam was working on just before that dumb bitch went and ate the apple. True story.

  • @brettppalmer This whole series is wrong!!! HAHAHAHA evolution is false pal.

  • @Lacocacolaman Oh, if only assertions were true you'd have a shorter nose.

  • @brettppalmer Lol if only you would use critical thinking skills and logic. Trust me all the info is there. Look at creation dot com go to that site and find the lies... I dare you ;) But we all know you wont. You could never question your blind faith in evolution.

  • @Lacocacolaman creation dot com, huh? And you say I need critical thinking?

  • @brettppalmer You think you would be ashamed of claiming your ignorance... I guess evolution could never be proven wrong if you never go look at the evidence against it :(

creation dot com go to that site, please, laugh and point at the lies.

  • @Lacocacolaman You think you would be ashamed of claiming your ignorance... I guess creation could never be proven wrong if you never go look at the evidence against it :(

College. Go there, please, laugh and point at the lies.

  • @brettppalmer

Sad :( dont look at the site you might question your faith

  • @Lacocacolaman When did I say I didn't look at the site?

  • @brettppalmer

Oh I am in college! did you go? I'm assuming they indoctrinated you to be so ignorant that you would never look at evidence against your claims.

  • @Lacocacolaman Oh, you're IN college? What program? Where? I graduated from college quite some time ago. Now, will you quit these tit-for-tats and actually produce some sort of evidence for creationism? Something other than "go look at my favorite creotard site"? Like, just for my amusement, can you tell me the role of human goosebumps in God's creation of human beings? Evolution has an answer; what does Creationism offer?

  • @brettppalmer

OK evidence for creation simple. There is no evolution. Animals always stay the same! there's a stasis in the fossil record. Animals Just appear in the fossil record there's no transitions. There's no evidence for fish to amphibian, amphibian to reptile, reptile to mammal, and reptile to bird (LOL). if There's no evidence for evolution, Creation is the alternative. supply a piece of "evidence" so I could open your eyes and teach you stuff you never knew about. I dare you.

  • @Lacocacolaman Can you actually answer questions that are put to you? What college are you attending? What year are you in? In what degree program are you enrolled? If evolution is false, that does not make creationism true. You have to EVIDENCE creationism, not assume it. So, given a creation model, WHY do human beings have goosebumps? I've checked your creotard site and unless I'm overlooking something, they're silent on the matter. Is that why YOU can't provide an answer, either?

  • @brettppalmer

HAHA I actually typed an answer but I got rid of my school info because the text didnt fit. I didn't think you actually would care :) I go to a cheap school called CSUN. I'm a television and media major. HA HA SO GOOSEBUMPS MEAN WE EVOLVED FROM MONKEYS!!! Here's a piece of evidence for creation The freezing North American tree frog. It's impossible for a creature to evolve a mechanism to stop its heart. Natural selection could never produce such a feature. I can go on if you want.

  • @Lacocacolaman Northridge? Nothing wrong with that! TV and media major doesn't exactly put you in an educated position to criticize biology, tho'. And it's evident that you don't understand evolution if you think we "evolved from monkeys". But you're not answering the question. I'll ask it one more time and if you don't answer, I'll block you. Here's your last chance: How do human goosebumps fit in the creation model? Why do humans have them if creationism is true?

  • @brettppalmer

You type way too much :) I guess I'm going to get blocked because I think you have to be mentally challenged to think that Goosebumps have any credibility in evolution! Come on, goosebumps!? HAHA! OK I'm sorry I don't know what goose bumps are for neither does evolution. There for we evolved from "ancient apes" not monkeys since that bothers you. Yes Goose bumps people! Goose bumps is the number one evidence for evolution! how pathetic... I'm glad people can see this.

  • @Lacocacolaman Also, I'm not going to chase down any papers that might exist regarding the freezing wood frog (try Jon Costanzo if YOU'RE that interested). You creationists tried the same thing with Antarctic fish and got schooled by that one. Here's a better question: there are a variety of NA wood frogs, some species which can tolerate freezing and some which cannot. Why would a creator create different frog species, living in similar circumstances, but with different tolerances to freezing?

  • @brettppalmer

You do know that us Creationist believe in Natural Selection, right? Natural selection 'Selects.' Bare with me 'Selects' is the key word here. So Nature (environment) Selects features that the creature already HAS. Nature doesn't magically go "This fish needs lungs, for some odd reason." Evolutionist tricked you into thinking otherwise. SO imagine a Super frog in the past. This frog can Freeze survive in deserts. When the frog stops using those features it'll slowly lose them.

  • @Lacocacolaman Oh crap! I couldn't resist and went looking for info on this frog. Funniest thing I ran into was the article on your creotard site. Do you realize that they don't have a freaking clue how these frogs got the ability to freeze? Their only suggestion (which is the ONLY response by creotards) is "Goddidit" by creating an uber freeze-resistant frog "kind" in the beginning and that, over time, some of uber-frog's decendents "de-evolved" the ability? THIS is what you call "science"?

  • @brettppalmer

Oh ok since evolution has all the answers. How did a heart evolve? How did a bear begin the process of Hibernating? How did the bear know that there would be noo food in the winter? Did all the bears have some grand meeting and realized if they wanted to survive they better start storing food! why would a reptile evolve warm blood? How do creatures drastically evolve different heart structures? Come on Evolution has no answers! just pretty pictures and movies :)

  • @Lacocacolaman Ok, Laco. I warned you about avoiding answers being put to you. You don't have a single evidence in favor of creationism. Like all creotards, you're a one-trick pony. Consider yourself blocked. If you can actually find an answer to my question, please email it to me and I will unblock you from my channel. But I'm finished playing games with you.

  • @brettppalmer you cannot explain creation with science.

  • @Hate4Atheism Boy, you got THAT right!

  • @Hate4Atheism I can't believe people still think evolution is true. One thing I noticed about Evolutionist is the key into believing in it is Ignorance.

  • @Lacocacolaman your right....i gues we have to be more tolerant towards atheists/evolutionists

  • @Hate4Atheism That's awfully big of you, Hate.

  • great job!

  • Man, you're criminally underviewed considering the amount of work and your thoroughness in these videos. So I tell people about your channel along with SmilingSkeptic's whenever I get the chance

  • @ffsnametaken I appreciate those kind words, ffs! As well as any word-of-mouth you can spread!

  • The Genesis story wouldn't be so troublesome if people wouldn't take it so seriously. If they just took it for a myth written by somebody who didn't have any way of knowing what actually happened. But if they take this as a myth, what else in the bible is a myth? That is a troublesome thought for Christians.

  • @AirbrushMercenary Yep. That's their catch 22. The minute they let Genesis drop, they'll lose their need for Christ's redemption. Without a "Fall" what's there to be "saved" from? However, liberal Christian theologians of course have figured out a way to have THAT cake and eat it, too!

  • @caseagainstfaith Yep! As a matter of fact I'm well aware of Ross, and I address this notion of the "atmosphere clearing" as an "interpretation" of Genesis' Day 4 in Part 8 (which will premiere in two weeks)!

  • Bravo!

  • @pianodavy I'm sure glad somebody likes it! Man...I'm working on Part 9 today....this is a lot of work, but I sure appreciate the encouragement!!

  • @brettppalmer your work is appreciated and of a significant quality. keep up the good work.

  • @addmoreice Gosh, thanks, addmoreice! I'm workin' hard right this very minute! I'm on Part 9, Day 5 of Creation!! I'm having a blast and am sure happy others are enjoying it, too!!
