  • Day 2 with mine, running i3-2100, 4GB ram and Win7 home 64Bit, no issues on Crysis or Warcraft.....

  • m8 try to clean your registry with RegCure - it could fix it

In one example a friend of mine had the same problem and it was because of some microsoft windows 7 updates for his sound card Realtek HD audio. It was basically the Realtek problem.

So if you have realtek audio sound card here is what you can try. Go under control panel - sound - choose recording - right click - show disabled devices - u should see Stereo MIx- right click on it and Enable it - restart comp.

    stupid but worked :)

  • Wow, u sad bastard... U stay in a lot, eh? U might wanna try getting out a bit, instead of making tossy videos for YouTube just boasting all ur shit....

"had to resort to my laptop & macbook" lmao - u even apologise in ur note for the vid with "sorry, had to use my iphone"

Fella, seriously, GET A PROPER FUCKING LIFE u spoiled little whopper

  • @TheRHINOS1 hahaha, i think the sad people are you that spend all their time trying to put down people on youtube, apologies, i have a interest in IT and tend to spend the money i have made since i was 14 from working in IT on IT products, just because you haven't found a way to balance hobbies with social life doesn't mean others don't have both? i have friends i go out drinking with, i have a girlfriend and a job.... you sir are the one that needs to sort yourself out. jealousy is bad :)

  • Maybe you should try turning off your Xfire and then start game. That happens to me when i play games like MW but i got completly different card. And the same thing happens but only when i got Xfire on.

Maybe that was your problem too idk just saying what happend to me.

    Thanks peace ;)

  • WHEN I PLAY FAR CRY 2 IT LAGS ITS LIKE I PLAY FAR CRY2 ON A LAPTOP WITH NVIDIA 7000M GT AND A INTEL CORE 2DUO

  • @KAIL166 Return Merchandise Authorization,Its when you return a product.

  • i have same problem

  • I have a diamond 5770 oced with a asus mobo and i put it under heavy loads everyday and it runs fine

  • Stop shaking the camera like BOOTY MEAT!!!

  • do you have the q8200?!

  • WELL , my problem is when i start to play any game after a while the screen goes black randomly then it comes back and after 1 min happens again very frustrating if anyone knows why pls TELL ME !

  • I have an HD 5770 with 4GB 1600Mhz ram and a phenom 2 x6 1055t. Everything works fine. Don't blame it on your graphics card because the only problems people usually have in wow is actual graphics glitches, as most cards have them once in a while.

  • I have a sapphire radeon HD 5770 and i have no problems

(i have win 7 home prem 64 bit)

  • How about this problem. I only have 1 screen i use for gaming. Yet every start up my computer detects my normal screen and a 'ghost' screen that appears to be on the side of my actual screen (if i move my mouse to the right it goes of onto this ghost screen)

Worst thing is i had it before but i had to format my HDD but the Driver update didn't fix it this time round making me wonder if it was the DU that fixed it first time....i can live with it, but i could do without it.....

  • do still have this problem....try update your bios on mother board,,,,sometimes switch around the memory.... power supply problem

  • This turned me on. :D

  • does problems solve in driver Catalyst_10.12_CCC2_Preview_Win7_Dec7

it works perfect for my pc.

    24inch lcd, Phenom II x2 , 4G ddr3, ATI 5770, Gigabyte ud5(G6 update)

it is not super gaming pc but hey~ not bad pc spec also lol

    it's ok right now.

most all games works so sexy

  • hey if u get a new monitor can i have your old one :D im still using a CRT -.-

  • I'm sorry, but its people like you that give bad newegg reviews.... Its USER ERROR! Uninstall video drivers, then fresh install... SIMPLE! If the card is defective, simply RMA it. You honestly think all ATI/57XX cards have this problem?.....

  • @madjimms I'm sorry but it's people like you that don't watch videos correcty and see that I fixed the issue. P.s. I got it from eclipse computers not newegg.

  • @grievsa07 I didn't mean you specifically or newegg specifically, its just what I see happening...

  • @madjimms Fair game. I think it was frustration at the time in honesty

  • @grievsa07 Was the issue just drivers?

  • @madjimms i think it was a combination of support for WoW and ATI (vice versa) and the crappy mobo at the time, take a look at my other video dude, i placed it in a completly new build, last night i was getting about 50 fps on max crysis settings

  • @madjimms well i have the same problem its anoyying.

  • @grievsa07 so did u fixe the problem i didnt find anything on coments? plz help i have exactly same problem i tryed all drivers even nvidia one better preformane idk why :/ but still crashin but mine crash usually stops and pops desktop on and tells me the my driver has crashe ://

  • Did you tried to reinstall the Windows?

  • Popped this into my new build (asus Evo usb3, x6 phenom II, 4gb 1600mhz) and it runs like a beauty. Feel like it may have been the motherboard now

  • Just remember; it's not always the card. Reviews have literally brown-nosed this card above most Nvidias, so if I was you, get a PC upgrade or something.

Because 2.33GHz (if that is the speed) is by no means a very good speed/power spec to have. Best thing is around 2.8-3.10 GHz, after that; you go into the high end edting/game building software that frankly is un-needed.

    Hope it sorts out.

  • The fact is, if you're PC is old, you could get a £600 Graphics card and the likelyhood is, it simply won't work, it isn't just the PC, it can be the fact that it isn't powerful enough to run with that specific card, or that card doesn't like some of you're software, a virus is slowing it up, you're PC may have become outdated; a lot of things could be causing it, it isn't always the Card, usually if it is a big problem, either download a new driver.

  • Mate, not being harsh, checked the spec of you're PC, if by 2.33, you mean the speed of the processor (2.33GHz) then you're in trouble, I feel for you with that mate, I understand that it is a decent PC, but if I was you, I would look into it, I have a 512 Nvidia at the moment, with a AMD Anthlon 64x2 bit, and to be honest, even with 3.5 Gb RAM, I have freezes and chrashes all the time. If im honest, thats probably the fact that it is a little high powered for you PC spec-

  • Maybe its a sign. Stop playing wow

  • world of warcraft!!! DUDE! my laptop can play this, and it has a intel accelerated graphics chip...... i am of course not on my laptop atm, im on my gaming rig ( shitty 4850, waiting for 6970 FTW!)

  • I had a simulare problem with my Sapphire 5770, it happend at random, with Flash or whatever as soon as it was used. Turning off the CPU C1E in bios fixed this for me. Not a clue how or why, but it did.

  • @KAIL166 nvidia is a piece of shit

  • Which is why a play starcraft

  • For ALL of you who have this problem and are starting to Doubt ATI's cards its not not the card, it is in fact WoW causing the video card to go into an infinite looping mode ultimatly going into the mode u see in video which is actually like a protection mode so it doesnt fry any other computer componets. To fix this problem go to where ur WoW is installed, then go to the WTF folder, then click on Config (open with word pad of course) then type in this: SET fixedfunction "1" Save and close.

  • i have same problem on windows 7 32bit im pretty sure the drivers arnt right , i play crysis or dirt 2 it plays sometimes or freezes on menu ,also sometimes it just exits game, l

  • @bilalhussain1 no u cpu is failling 5770 max out dirt 2 easy mode no crash

  • this it a wow problem dude

  • i have my card and it dosent do anything........ its perfect

  • Just lower you GPU CLOCK on 50 Hrz and that will do the job

  • Welcome to Ati CRASH Family ))))

  • @titanium811 ATI>NVIDIA

  • It can be that the server has problems or anything else.. at the moment my realm has many problems and all my friends can't login like me after the loadingscreen finished to load.. no graphiccard problem..!

  • if it crashes on just wow then its drivers or the game itself,if its freezing on all games then the card itself is faulty,i have no problems at all with my sapphire 5770 with drivers from 10.4-10.9 check my videos,i would rma the gpu and buy the 5770 folks its a good card

  • LOL NOOB WAIT

  • wtf dude forget the iphone why u move like this dammm

  • you could try re installing Wow,

  • If your Numlock, Capslock and Rolllock are cant get activated this is not a problem of the Graphfikcard...

Its a problem of the Motherboard, that has a "stuck" (sry i don't know how to say it in good english)

  • @KAIL166 Ah ok. Al try now. Thanks for the advice

  • @grievsa07 has the problem been fixed yet? did new drivers need to be installed? just interested cuz i might be getting this or somthing like it

  • @KAIL166 Tbh. Am scared Of updating in case it brings more problems ahah

  • @KAIL166 I think I may go back, way better support, I tried the 260 gtx and worked like a dream

  • Hm I've been using a 5770 in one of my PC's for a good while now (on Windows 7 64-bit) and not had a single problem at all. Drivers from 9.3 - 10.4 have been used without a problem. It sounds to me like a memory defect on the card given the symptoms but it could be a few things, really. Try updating your BIOS to start with.

  • @maz12004 Good call for the memory defect on the card...it well could be that they are overheating and just hardlock since they cant send signal anymore....I've solved the problem to down clocking to 640 on the core and 1025 on the ram........I'm pretty baffled but I want to buy a new nvidia card in the future, so this will do for now :D SO FOR ANYONE WITH THE PROBLEM OF HARDLOCKING THEN DOWNCLOCK YOUR CARD A LITTLE BIT :) hope that helps

  • apart from the fact, please look at related videos, you will see i am not the only one with 5770 problems,

  • people seriously, you acting like this is my pc thats causing the problems, it was the drivers, after i updated to newest drivers it sorts this problem, only problem now is i get memory leaks, am guessing this will be sorted in later drivers, when i rang XFX they blamed my Seller, so i rang them, they blamed ATI, and they blamed XFX for a company doing that, that tells me that they dont know about half the problems their self before they release

  • that game is for people who have no life anyway waste of money to paying mounthly wonder why people have no money

  • @halotrevor ...says the one with halo in his user name?, i just got back from leeds music festival with a group of friends... yeah i dont have a life....

  • its not the card.its your piece of shit mother board bottle necking, choking off card.....

  • @dewey9112 Your right it's not the card.... It's the drivers. The thing I have said in all my comments. If it was my 'piece of shit motherboard' them that would mean that software drivers wouldn't fix this problem. Omg.. They have!!!... Get a IQ more then a dead blue bottle before you comment please

  • @grievsa07 dont you mean "get an IQ more than a dead blue bottle"

sorry but i hate it when people call others stupid and spell incorrectly.

  • @thejamieboy0 ever heard of an iPhone keyboard fool

  • @grievsa07 that should not make any difference in spelling.

  • So you think this problem is only with 64 bit OS?

  • @xCorrosive Well alot of x64 drivers are known for being unreliable but they seem

To have sorted it but I just get the problem

Of wow crashing with a memory leak now when the graphics are on ultra... Should have been sorted in a later driver update but av

Got it working abit so ad rather not push it :p

  • Its compatibility issues, my friend. I have the card and I can play games fine. If you didn't check if your computer was compatible or not, please don't go ranting about the graphics card, when it is not its fault. It also may be that you haev a faulty graphics card as MrPruneCandy said.

  • @EmoEnvii yes. If you read my latest comment you'd see the latest drivers fixed my problem meaning it's not a faulty card and it's not compatibility issues with other hardware...

  • msconfig? lol

  • @benica87 nooope msconfig wouldnt of helped, the 10.6 drivers have came out and sorted all my probems, sometimes a problem starting up but not too bad, i had to do a full system wipe to get rid of my WoW issues, even my colleges with more experiance couldnt work it out... think it was down to poor x64 bit drivers again but most componets come against that problem with x64

  • Yeah. I tested this on a 32bit os and everything was fine. To be fair to ati they have fixed most of my problems in the 10.6 CCC and yeah I have used offical drivers. Although a problem still remains in wow. After about 1 hour playing my game starts to 'hiccup' stutters every few seconds and then eventually crashes as it goes over the max allowed memory. (goes to about 1,700,000 meg when I monitor it) so i crashes the game meaning I have to relauch it. This is wows compatibility issues

  • Well, if this problem only occurs with x64 bit OS's, then I won't have a problem running this on my x32 bit Windows 7. Also, did you use the actual ATI drivers from their website or the drivers from the card manufacturer. It makes a difference.

  • iv had a xf 5770 since the 5770 were released and the only time i had a issues was witht he first drivers that came with them...your card is either faulty or you dont know how to install drivers

  • @MrPrunecandy nope, card is fine... and yes i do know how to install drivers, i have been building computers since i was 13 and worked in a computer repair shop since i was 14

  • m8 i'm feeling you pain :( i got MSI R5750 and it hardlocks pretty much ervery time in game.... gonna kill their support...pretty much useless.....there is definitely a compatibility issue with the motherboard, gpu, ram and the OS, me thinks it's the motherboard and gpu or maybe an OS and gpu.... not all, just some, so drivers and bios updates are the future :D until then just stay calm and dont throw you pc out of the window

  • @ilya383 haha, al take that advice, yea XFX support sucked aswell as ATI, they said there was nothing wrong with the card so i rang the seller and they said i had to pay the restock fee of 25% of the card to exchange it... awful support, and yea, i have all the latest bios aswell, maybe motherboard compatibility

  • naa, unfortunatly its the drivers, i tested this on a xp machine, if you google everyone who has my problems (there are many more) also uses the same as me a x64 bit windows 7

  • i agree with ivan probably just you got a faulty card I have seen many vids with this card and they work fine id would of sent it back and got another one, everyone i know who has one said there's working fine.

  • make use google before you make statements like that, ATI have made a mess of the drivers.... yeah the card works well when it wants to work but its unstable as they rushed for dx11, i know 4 people in real life with this card, 3 of them have problems...

  • your stay away from the 5700 series statement is unfounded. you're the only one i've seen with this problem so you probably have a defective card. so far the 5700 series is good.
