The snow is definitely pretty to look at and I didn't mind it so much when I didn't have kids. But I've walked a few times with four small kids in the snow (not far, fortunately) and decided that if we get the chance to move, it will be in a place with shorter winters.
then you mean down in mass or UT I was told that the winters out there in UT are a lot nice then what we have down here. Also in the summer the it air isnt dry like we get. So you breath a lot better. Nothing like country air for kids hack even for us.
That looks a lot like North Idaho! 4 wheel drive is SO necessary if you ever leave town (and sometimes in town!). We are actually under "State of Emergency" up here right now... And you reacted calmly with the sliding! Most people freak out.
That's because it wasn't the first I've been in a sliding vehicle, there was no ravine, even if the road was steep, it wasn't steep enough to tumble the van, and I usually don't react to something like that until AFTER it's over.
We're actually almost out of salt this year. So even a 4x4 may not be enough in some places. More like a tank.
Well Done with the Video.. How come u didn't Drive?? *HaHa* To Much Snow for ya OR Hubby wants to be in Control? *LOL* I'm in Va so U can keep all that Snow.. *LOL* Take Care and Chat Soon-
Hubbie likes to drive. Although, knowing VT and the "back roads", I didn't like the idea of going. He was hesitant too, but I guess after a while he saw it as a challenge and we went anyway.
My Sis lives in VA and *misses* the snow, believe it or not. :D
That's a lot of snow! Oh dear! Colorado doesn't get that much snow, but it stays so cold that it stays around! Same with Nebraska (which gets relatively little snow...maybe only 18" a year).
Yikes that's a lotta snow!!! I'm not sure whether I was looking at this video right or not. It seems like you didn't make it to your fellowship and wound up going back home? For the vast majority of people 4wd is a waste and not worthwhile because of the additional expense, added maintenance, and higher gas consumption but you guys CERTAINLY need it!!! While I do like your vlogs I also enjoy this type of vid very much! It's nice to have a variety.
Oh my,I don't go out in it unless I have no choice.I am not too happy with my sons coach.I have had to go out in a snowstorm twice to take him to basketball practice. The roads were awful tonight.Yah Michigan has had alot of snow this year.
I'm glad we only got 3 inches so far this year.
On man that's pretty, but I did have a bad feeling like that movie "Misery," hey.
Good deal getting out of that sideways jam!

Read the title. Of course I have.
We have to take into consideration the cost of gas as well. After all, we have five kids.

It was my husband's choice. He is kind of stubborn that way. :D Not necessarily a bad thing.
