実は、この地震があった当時、震源地でもある奥尻沖の海区でイカ­漁をしていました(；´∀｀)街を見たら普段なら街灯が点々と光­ってる街が一瞬で火の海になったのは今も覚えています。

報道の奥尻島の動画の中に、イカ釣り漁船の明かりを臨むシーンを­挿入していたものを見たことがあるような気がします。

現在では復興していますが、青苗岬は巨大な防波堤で昔の面影は無­くなってしまいましたね。

安全上はこのようにするしかなかったかもしれませんが。

被災前の奥尻島に寄っておきたかったです。

That character is called ' Unimaru-kun ' as delicious food of sea animals selected by Okushiri town of Hokkaido prefecture.

That statue is the monument of southern edge of Okushiri island.

Okushiri island is known as big terrible tidal wave ' Tsunami ' disaster area by big earthquake of magnitude 7.8 in 1993.
