there's plenty of people, if not tens of milions, who predicted this crisis in detail. Raghuram G. Rajan is a great example, but even Jimmy Carter qualifies all teh way back in 1979 was it? we chose, but by a narrow margin, a "false sense of freedom".... that leads to disaster. Just like Jimmy said it would.
