  • Those ridgies need a diet!!

  • RR great breed but these guys so over weight.

  • I'm noticing here what I've seen a lot of with my own pair of Ridgies when they encounter other breeds. They've been bred for such an unusual task (going out alone 'hunting' lions and play-fighting them to an exhausted standstill) that RRs seem to be on a different wavelength re playing. They're expert at reading their own very specific body language but other breeds don't speak it. So…mismatch; RRs waiting for other breeds to 'get it'. RR + RR looks right but RR + breed X = start/?/stop/? etc

  • What I mean is, when it comes to chasing, running, rolling about etc., there's not much noticeable difference and fun is had by all, especially as the Ridgies will want to play with the other breeds (though almost all smaller breeds find our ridgies' rough, athletic friendliness overwhelming and keep their distance. But ridgies by themselves get up/down/sideways to such weird posturings, bunnyhops, moaning, face-to-face rear-ups, 'leg-grabs/holds' etc more like a wrestling match than dog play…

  • RR owns

  • rots big babies as long as you know them

  • ohhhhhhh the violence

  • Seems to be as normal with the ridgies

    Cheers april

  • Beautiful dogs!. My two favorite breeds. I had a Rottweiler years ago. I will be getting a RR later this year.
