At a concert it's super energetic, there are the moshpits etc, but in general when I'm just trying to relax, or if I'm for some reason pissed off this music calms me down like nothing else. Same with black metal. You can feel the riffs washing over you, pulsing through you, it's incredibly soothing. The musicianship is top notch, there is no bullshit corporate cocksucking, they love their fans and their work. Death Metal kicks fucking ass.
