I went to stockholm for a month ago, and of course i had to see the ship. But after seeing the ship, the king that builted it must be crazy. when a dane is told the history about the ship, they often comment: its only the swedes that is so stupid to bulit that kind of ship. off the record, svenska flicka is the best! A hot day on dronningsgaten is likely paradise.

Lol the king (Gustav Adolf) Never build the fricking ship, it was designed and built by ship architects, he just ordered a ship mate. He had nothing to do with it more than that. The ship had to little ballast, that small detailed made it into a fiasco but that doesn't mean the ship wasn't any less of an awesome machine, it would have been the biggest battleship ever made at the time.

@k1lkenny your information must come from a swedish encyclopedia. if i mean war not battle it may be right, but sweden havent won a war since before the kalmarunion 1397-1523. all the land they gained after that period, have been lost. so i may not have been, that great the swedish empire.

I was talking about war. Denmark haven't had a successful campaign against Sweden since before 1523 (That being said we got badly raped by Denmark during the union times^^) But I have to correct you there, we kept some lands, all of eastern Denmark, I'm talking of course about Skåneland. (Aswell as Jämtland/Härjedalen), this was previous Danish regions (And had always been so) but we took em back in 1658 and had them since.

Now you have to learn the difference between The HRE and The Roman Empire (As I've already told you)

The swedish empire?? what the fuck? what about starting with a video that goes back to the viking period? Denmark have never been under swedish command, Denmark may hav lost a war or two against Sweden, but Denmark have never been occupied for more than a year.

Did I say 20 million soldiers? No I said 20 Million inhabitants within the HRE. Sweden had ca 1,5 million. Oh you havent? It is however the truth. A nations population was at the time one of it's most well guarded secrets (It's why so few nations actually went to war with Sweden, they thought a land this big was bound to have a huge population, this was however not the case)
It would have been devastating for Sweden if another nation would to know the true count of our population. - All and all Sweden didn't have more than ca 1,5-2 million citizen within the whole empire. (Look at us today, just 9 million)

The Holy Roman Empire was vastly richer than Sweden, had more allies and could easily gather more troops - they offered better pay -, Sweden didn't have more of an national army than the HRE, 75% of the Swedish army consisted of mercenaries. Overall Sweden was not the favourite horse to bet your money on. That was however proven to be false. Sweden did win.

I meant "Romerska Riket" (The Roman Empire) when I said The Holy Roman Empire not Heliga Romerska Riket av Tyskland (Heiliges Römisches Reich Deutscher Nation). Quite frankly, I wouldn´t expect that anyone on YT would know anyting about The Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.
