@janejulia911 This is a 1x18 cab from a Foundation bass amp ( The super model had 2x15 cab).I guess it comes from the lat 60sties .

With a delay pedal, do you loose any bottom end, or are delay pedals not really based on frequency, more than just volume really?

This EHX didn't change the sound too much.The settings and length of cables matters,too ;)

yes. one slapped with delay and one picked w/o delay. play the song in your car and pan the music left and then right and you can really hear it. I play bass for a Floyd tribute and we use 2 basses for this song.
