  • walmart associates from the south hate unions nomatter if they have to work for lower wages it is not walmart it is the idiot people who hate unions that demand higher wages

  • I got 6 dollars from Walt Disney World. :P

Move to Norway and get a payment of at least 18-20 dollar minimum at a grocery store. ;)

  • Darla, you are 100% right! I'm a cashier with two bacehlor's degrees and I make only $8.55 an hour. They actually decreased my pay from $8.75 because they took me off of sales floor to stick me as a cashier. Ridiculous!

  • Something tells me if this broad spent HALF as much time working on her career as she does whining in front of a camera, she coud OWN Wamart by now. Think you're underpaid, toots? Then quit!

  • Fucking walmart unionize! If they try to kick all you out and replace u burn down the

mother fucker your viewed as pesant slaves by walmart execs they use this economic crises as an excuse to cut hours and wage while still making record bonuses for them and thier buddies wake up workers they will never invite you to there club get what's rightfully yours your fair share for your sweat blood and tears you give the company!

  • My friend has been there for going on 8+ years and I'm sure that she's now at 10 an hour and here is the saddest part of all - Her family is on food stamps.

  • Yet again, watching all these videos, for some reason, I don't feel sad for their wages.

Find a way to get back into college. Develop skills that will let you progress in your job (even if it is just at Wal-Mart). Hell, find a new job.

Small list of Jobs/Wages for me:

Papa Johns: $11.50/hr (Offer for store manager at $45k/yr)

    McDonalds $10.50/hr

    Intelligent Lighting Programmer: $400-700/Day

    Freelance Electrician: $250/day

Guys, Im 21 with no college education and I still do good for myself.

  • Seriously - you need the education on this matter.

I'm still injured and I had to deal with their crap.

Oh yeah and BTW - that's me.

I pray to God that you get better informed.

  • How am I supposed to get better informed on this matter? The object in America is to make as much money as possible, as fast as possible. You happen to work for a greedy company, and therefore you get screwed. Are you forced to still work there? Can you not get a vocational degree in your spare time? Do you not have anywhere else go to? You're injury means nothing to me - I work freelance and get NOTHING if I'm injured. I've been out of work for 1 1/2 months now, but I managed to save

  • enough money to live on for the time being.

Remember, God helps those that helps themselves. Find a way out of your situation rather than bitching about it online. There is ALWAYS a way. You just might not have the drive to find it though.

  • I forgot to add: I live on my own, work and attend school full time. My student loans are very minimal, and rarely help that much beyond books and tuition.

  • dude, not everyone can afford to pay for college plus pay rent and everything else on a minimum wage or even at 8.50. and your asking her to save, my mom can't even save a $1 a month on what she makes, and thats $11/hr. its not bitching, its called reality, trying to bring more awareness to others and stop wal-mart's greedy, inhumane practices. not everyone has the luck you have, or would want to work where you work. p.s. 10.50/hr at mcdonald's? are you kidding me?! idk what planet ur living on

  • as for looking for a job, its not as easy as you make it sound.

  • As for $10.50/hr at McDonalds, I was Assistant Manager III (Lowest level). This was when minimum wage was still $6.25, IIRC.

Im currently working as a freelance electrician/labor getting around $200-300/day (depending on the gig). I average 2-3 days a week working. I had to search high and low for this job, alright? I put EFFORT into things. If a 21 year old with no real skills or real world experiance can pull it off, I think anyone can if they have the drive.

  • Side note: My mom cleaned houses and got student loans (Federal and state) to put herself through college when I was 4 or 5 years old. Single mom, no child support, just an FYI. My mom had the drive, I have the drive, everyone else bitches and moans about bad conditions.

    See the difference here?

  • like i said, if you have the opportunity. and for those who can't speak enlighs, can't do it or its much harder. my mom struggles with the language, otherwise she'd have a better job. too many details go into that. but ppl bitch and moan in order to try to bring about awareness and change, like this channel. dont tell me you dont bitch and moan either. everyone does.

  • oh, assistan MANAGER. big difference there, unless your just a simple worker in the drive-thru window. sure, effort counts. but what about opportunity, if there is none, how can you make any effort?

  • I made AM in under 1 year working there (Started at 16, got AM at 17). You just gotta show the effort. After that, I have never held a non-management job (Besides PC Repair). All my trades and skills I learned by reading online and forcing myself to get better at what I do. As for people who can't speak English - Tough luck. You think if I move to France I can get a job if I dont speak French? Same rule applies here. Christ, I've been turned down for jobs because I don't speak SPANISH.

  • Seriously, what the hell is wrong with that picture? I don't speak a foreigner's language so I don't get a job?

I never expect anything to be handed to me. I bust my butt for what I have. And yes, I have bitched and moaned before - When my employer stiffed me out of $2000 in double time pay. I was working 65+ hours a week and still going to school during those times.

  • no one expects that, much less Latinos but they try. and again, everyone is different and is not like you.

  • maybe your just more resourceful and luckier than others, others dont have access to the same kind of info or opportunities as you do. fact is a lot of blue collar jobs with corporations suck, and we should change them. or more like they should change. i know, it'd be a miracle if it happens but its worth trying. and thats the point of this video. focus on the bigger pictures, not the details or personal stuff.

  • well knowing two languages is better than one. and its tought to learn english when your already an adult. give'em a break. i repeat, no one likes AM jobs unless they have no choice and are desperate for it.

  • Companies can change. They just choose not to. Why? Because there is someone to fill the place no matter what. If you wont do the job, someone else will. Maybe you should focus more on the "Hey, Minimum wage needs to be higher" than on "OMG WALMARTS WAGES SUCK." Fighting against one company neglects the bigger picture. Of course, raising minimum wage will also raise the cost it requires to produce, transport, and vend goods, therefor raising the price of the end product.

  • Its a vicious cycle, I know, but unfortunately, its the way the world works. Like I said before, this is darwinism at its finest. Those that make the right choices in life and are smart about everything make it in life. Those that don't end up at Wal Mart, McDonalds, etc. etc. Hell, even if you work at McDonalds and show enough drive, you could be owning your own McD's by the time you're 30. Yes, my old boss did that, owns his own McD's and has his MBA as well (they paid for his school)

  • well i dont like darwinism. its racist, discriminatory, and gives the superiors a way to feel better about themselves and look down on others, as well as a "reason" to step on others. it also promotes eugenics which i dont like at all.

  • true, but its mostly on how walmart treats its employees, and ive heard many a horror story. their famous for it, or should i say infamous.

  • Walmarts slogan is "save money, Live better" why not start at home with your own employees. Costomers you may be getting a great price, but your also getting cheap junk usually made in a sweat shop somewhere in China, by someone making $1 or less per hour, meanwhile walmart makes BILLIONS, you heard me, Billions with a "B" and they're paying their employees Crap. Comeon Wake up People, it's all about lining their pockets. open your eyes!

  • it was once said that With the profit alone that walmart brings in, they would be about to pay each and every one of theit billions of employees a safe minimum of $13.00 per hour. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of being screwed, and don't tell me to go get another job because I've tried, there are none around here!

  • I've been working for walmart now for 4 years and am still making $7.70 per hour. I know people who have worked at my store for over 10 years and are still making less than $8.00 per hour. plus, their starting wage is Extremely low, way below the poverty level (continued)

  • is this real or not? i cant tell after watching waldermort watch.

  • I'm real and I'm her.

  • wat do you have against walmart its cause they dont like dat rite

  • Work there, Get injured and then put up with all of their nonsense. Gee, I wonder why I have a problem with them - hmmm

  • o god ... :(

  • that's all they do care about, I've been with Walmart now for 8 years, I started at $7.50 and I'm only making $10.89, that's ridiculous
