you dont gotta take apart hdd just get a transfer cable its a little usb cord the plugs into the hdd to the computer

I deleted all the patches from my hard drive and memory card and then I went to play left 4 dead and i transferred the user settings to my memory card then i opened up modio and opened the user settings and changed the buttons to what I wanted then I put it back on my 360 and played it but none of the buttons work like it never got modded.

You can to right click in the folder for left for dead and right click and it should be like inject this file. Browse for the user settings and it should work

@L4D195 if ur running a form of windows on ur pc there is a new security setting called uac witch can be turned off. when using a modding program windows uac stops u from being a ble to drop and drag. lok how to turn uac on either windows or windoes vista

@L4D195 try turning your UAC (user account control) off, go to start and control pannel, then user accounts and family safety then again click user accounts then at the bottom should be change user account settings, then on that page should be a bar at the left with always notify at the top and never notify at the bottom, you will want to drag the bar to "never notify" then click "ok" then restart your computer.

you need to remove the updates for it to work. Valve patched it because people were using them online.
