Maybe knifing should be a perk. or maybe actually EVERYONE in the game have LAST STAND only when you get knifed. NO last stand perk, but auto last stand if get knifed.. seriously that helps against panic knife. Unless they use weapons like ballistic knife, which results in 1 knife hit = instant kill.

They weren't really like "I think it'd be a good idea to use my secondary now" (like if you were a sniper with a machine pistol secondary or something). They're more like "I need to switch weapons with one I found on the ground. Better pull out my pistol."

The knife should not have auto aim, should have a melee range (none of this knife the air and hit someone across the room BS), should have a reasonable ark (none of this 180 BS) and should be cancelled out if you are shot while attempting to knife someone. If the person is running ballistic knife then it should work like it does now.
