  • wow.

  • how hard is that to learn to do, he makes it look really easy.

  • The pilot makes it look very easy :-)

  • BLOODY BRILLIANT!

  • im not an ass dude!!! i can see what he is doing. it isnt nessecary to explane every single movement of the glider

  • @maikst96 You comment proves otherwise

  • "red goat" WTF

  • like bird natural flight

  • this is so beautifull

  • more impressed about this flight than a jet. this is what men in the old ages were dreaming about; to fly like a bird. incredible lift with no roll - unreal....

  • I wish more vids were narrated like this. :)

  • фига се . планер с вертикальным взлетом)))

  • good narration, I thought you were a news network pro. That's a crazy launch, I'd feel better on my feet in my hang glider for sure.

  • that's just freaking awsom..I love it! now if they could just build one that twice the size to hold my big rump....lol.

  • Now let's see dynamic soaring....hehe.

  • how heavy and how big and what is it made of?

  • very good video and narration

  • very misleading title...

  • Amazing

  • Parachute altitude is very hard to reach i guess. This is absolutely crazy but just live once, right? :-)

  • What a price to build this, and what material you used?

  • Very cool. Makes me want to fly one of these gliders.

  • Very good commentary make this a wonderful video clip. It seems sinful to get so much flying pleasure at no cost :-) I sure would love to be doing this sort of flying.

  • Loved it, great commentary.

  • I don't know about you,but that's bitchen.

  • Haven't your heard. Real men & women have better things to do than watch adults play children's games on television. :-)

  • i wanna do this

  • super

  • awesome! have you built this thing yourself or did you buy it?

  • :)

  • wow nice quite!

  • Like zero ground roll..

  • dear santa...

  • very nyce......

  • but will it blend?

  • a los que nos ha gustado la aviacion, nos queda si no, expresar sentimientos encontrados, hermoso es volara.

  • ever thought of installing something like 2 big brushless motors in the wings? Would this work out for self launching?

  • 1:01 LOL WUT??

    and damn good narration

  • Cool

  • Is this a homemade plane?

  • James Randy?

  • One of the best things I've seen so far this year. Looks to dangerous for the average guy .The pilot made it look easy which by far it is not clearly.

  • Good job.

  • ГРАЦАПА

  • ~besides being very enjoyable visually, -let this be a lesson to the vast majority of such videos wherein the audio portion typically spoils the whole presentation, --usually by insertion of lame monkey-musik. The well modulated narrator really did his homework, and informed us of things to observe and understand better...! ~Thankx

  • Great flying skills.

    Great footage.

    Great narration.

    Great video.

I love watching seagulls spread their wings on a windy hill and simply go up with the draft.

This video evoked that same feeling except on steroids.

    Good stuff.

  • you can get rocket parachutes for hang gliding i think. I think they work similar to a ejector seat system. I would be interested in such technology if trying hang gliding. I think its important to have some kind of safety backup.

  • @210482fmj Goats have an emergency parachute that brings the glider and pilot down safely in the event of unforeseen problems.

  • nice

  • I really really want to get into this!

  • LOL @ 0:55

"in this wind the glider floats of the launch without needing much.. ground roll"

Goes straight up in the sky

    very nice video, thank you

  • This is bad ass. I can imagine being in that thing and just shooting up that must be awesome

  • This is old school narrating, quick and to the point.

  • Wow! Narration that actually contributes something to the video. Rare indeed!

  • 0:56 "In this wind, the glider f?? [sorry, this is beyond my comprehension capacity, as a non English speaker] after launch without needing much ground roll": I suppose 10 cm (4 in) is indeed not much...

  • Yes nice job on narrating.

  • i liv in sd! yaay sd!

  • That's gotta be the cheapest Harrier!

  • looks easy because the goat pilot is an expert in riding goats

  • @stealhty1 i like goats.

  • good narrating.

  • no way i was right there !!!

  • That's living....

  • any info on the material that is used for the wings?

  • @straighttailpilot there is quite a bit of info about this plane including plans if you google it. It is a heat shrinkable dacron fabric that is glued on then shrunk tight and then painted with aircraft type paint intended for this application.

  • @yawstick wow I had never heard of this material. is this material any good on speeds up to 100 mph?

  • @straighttailpilot Just saw your response... yes this fabric... at least a certified version of it is what is used on Piper Cubs and pretty much any plane with fabric covered wings and/or fuselage. I read somewhere online about the goat in particular... he used a lightweight uncertified fabric I think to save weight and possibly cost.

  • Quanto custa um brinquedo desse???

    Quero um pra mim!!!!!

É serio, por favor me digao onde adiquiro um desse!

  • Comment removed

  • sorry dear friends, I meant to say narrator.

  • Both the commentator and the pilot are cool. I like how the glider picks up altitude effortlessly, also, I like how the pilot makes his banking turn to position the glider for the landing with the wind. Now, that's how it's done.

  • that looks so fun i got plan for something similar im so exited to fly it

  • Awesome video!....Very informative. Thanx for sharing!

  • Good job on the narrative! The landing looked concerning to me based on the steep bank angle, low altitude, and low ground speed. But his air speed was "flying speed" at nearly 0 ground speed. Very neat flying!

  • superb and great video commentary

  • This is so perfect in the new "1911 vision"

  • c est vraiment beau a regarder et ca a l air si simple....... c genial

  • what would the effect be if the cockpit was a hollow tube so the air flow was to pass striaght through that tube like a tunnel.

  • .... Hello friend, first I want to congratulate you for the excellent work, then I wanted well ask if you would pass the measures that your ultralight, because here in Brazil we do not have any information on this type of toy. We here paragliding and delta wing , but nothing that comes close to his invention of spectacular.

  • That takeoff was just magical, thanks for posting.

  • I wanted this one to me.

    Beautiful glider.

    Congratulations

    ((( Wanzam ))) Brasil

  • This is a really nice glider!

  • Excellent - is there anyone doing this on the East coast of Florida? No hills here to speak of, so steady winds a must to take off. Just curious - I am a licensed sailplane pilot in Satellite Beach, FL

    Thanks, Charles

  • AMAZING!!! You should start a company and produce these... I bet you hear that all the time

  • VTOL!!!!!awesome....looks flimsy

  • Nice job !!!

  • Thank s for sharing this new video .Realy good job Mike..You gave me nice inspiration.........

  • I have seen Bug and Goat videos, but this one is awesome!

Good job Mike! Good flying Floyd!

    Mitja

  • Love the way it floats...wish I could ride one though, not many much flying site for hang glider here in the Philippines.

  • Everywhere there is air... you can soar!
