It doesn't make it more interesting; it makes it far LESS interesting. If you know whats being done or how they do it, it takes away all the mystery, wonder and it becomes trivial.

Its not like a car engine, we don't use massivly complicated machines to vanish things, just simple techniques. Often audiances feel "cheated" that they were taken in so easily when they find out how a trick is done.
