I watched a documentary when i was little, it was really well known, they didn't kill anyone but the owners had to leave because the cuttlery was flying around the room, when there children tried to sleep in there beds the furniture would be pushed up against the doors, firemen had to climb in the windows to get these kids.. tone of other things can't remember now but it was all really hostile, don't see why a ghost wouldn't kill ya if they were that pissed just as a human could

Personally, I believe in ghosts! Seen a dark black shadow that was like a mass...in broad daylight, when I opened my front door!
