I've been to this cemetery several times on field investigations. The cemetery does have activity but I has no corelation with Kate Blood. In fact this is the only cemetery that I had ever had a "physical" sighting with something paranormal. I've had several reports from people of all demographics about hearing a child here. That given, there are far more active cemeteries in the Fox Valley area. I'm sorry to say the road guide should actually be called Wisconsin's Road Guide to Old Wives Tales.

It seems like you are taking the one trail that leads further away from the cemetery, right when you want in the main entrance, you will see two trails, one that leads higher up, and one that's on the ground trail. in other words, once you see the two trails, take a left onto the trail that leads up. the cemetery is like one minute away when walking. The other questions.. i have no idea =/ Good luck! Maybe sometime i will see ya there =)

i think it was originally used for decoration with the cemetary, but they stopped the construction to add on to the cemetary, so alot of satanic worshipers and homeless people have fires down there cause its a good place to block the wind

Before the main entrance there usually is some lady sitting on a chair in her balcony, well whenever i go i see her there. If that's the lady you guys are talking about, she has no right to tell us what to do =) Last time i went, it was like 10:30-11pm and it wasn't creepy at all, at least the trail that leads up to the cemetery. It smelt like watermelon or some type of perfume right in the area of the cemetery, very interesting.

For those who live near Riverside: would be interested in whether you can confirm something I experienced last October. In the northern part of Riverside (towards Wisconsin Avenue), near the "baby" cemetary, there is a section with almost all Hmong graves. Go there at night, preferably after midnight, sit by the large baby memorial, and look towards the Hmong area for a half hour or so. Did anything happen? Did you hear or see anything? I'd appreciate your responses.

I've been reading that book the past couple of days and what I noticed is that it disproves just about EVERY haunted Wisconsin location out there - kind of depressing. Another thing is I CAN'T BELIEVE Mukwonago, WI locations aren't in there. Rainbow Springs Golf Course and Heaven City are among the most famous locations in the state. Those are genuinely haunted by the way. Has anyone ever been to Paradise Road in Jefferson?

The grottos were used by Catholics for the Stations of the Cross ceremony. In the 1950s and 1960s, it was a ceremony performed during Lent. A procession of priests and worhippers would go from grotto to grotto, stopping to pray at each one. Each grotto had statues that depicted the various spots where Jesus Christ was said to have stopped as he carried his cross to Mount Calvary.

In the 1970s the grottos fell victim to vandals, who destroyed all the statues that had been in them.

It makes me bitter of everyone who actually believe the crap that she murdered her husband, three children and herself. when you can just compare the three names one the big tombstone to the little one(initials) I do believe there is ghost there. Kate died from tuberculosis at Lawerence, Kansas visiting relatives. the grottos were used for monks. there was saints in them and the monks held holy rituals for them. I believe the phenomenon of ghost are the monks still at work.
