Always sad to see a Warship DECOM. I recall the USS KINKAID DD965. She was ultimately sung as a target. However; the 'ol girl did not surrender to Davy Jones so easily! LMAO!!! YEEEOW!
I might be mistaken but, I believe that the "Kinky D" had to be boarded after surviving a barrage of assorted munitions. SHE WOULD NOT SINK! Charges had to be detonated from within the STEADFAST & TRUE Warship before she "agreed" to enter the "locker".
