Campaign is mediocre, same with multiplayer, but the fact that every game you play is recorded on video from every angle, all the custom maps people can make with forge, and being able to play countless fun custom games on custom maps with friends makes Halo 3 the best game of all time. And PS3 controllers suck, and more people have Xbox 360's. There are some PS3 exclusives I would like on the 360, but there are a ton I wouldn't.
The crackdown thing was a code for the multiplayer beta of halo 3 that came with the game-sort of like a nice way to get a good game into the market. NOT a 'raffle ticket' lol.

I think PS3 is better as I like the games better. I purchased a ps3 just for MAG, Demons Souls (which is an amazing freaking game) and Fat Princess (dont kid yourself, there is more fun in that game than most 360 exclusives). Im happy with my ps3, and I enjoy it alot more than my 360.
one word- R-E-C-H-A-R-G-A-B-L-E!!!! you can buy 360 rechargables most places $10 some places $20 its just a battery pack that can recharge a very good deal, if u ask me.
PS3 also has free online play while you have to pay for the 360's and the 360 has a 33 percent chance of failing while the ps3 has like a 3-5 percent chance of failing.

Sony were retarded to overlook this flaw with their console, since their PSX defeated N64 for a very similar reason, i.e. being friendly to third-party developers. Sony decided to screw them over, and now they have to suffer in much the same way as N64, Gamecube Jaguar, etc. did.

The 360 has sold more then the ps3 therefor if you play multiplayer, you will get more players to play with. And with 360 you dont need to install a shit! Great games don't need Blu-ray and games like gears of war and halo are classic and the online may not be free but it's better than psn things like browser or netflix (which 360 has) doesn't count in gaming. Fuck Blu-ray when I can just watch a movie in 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p on my xbox or just use a simple dvd-player....Only thing I see in PS3 is the free live. Xbox 360 is a garbage fucking console. The only reason why people praise it so much is because it has more games which is because it's been out a year longer than the PS3. Oh yeah, it also has Live which you have to fucking pay for which makes people believe that it's quality. PS3 constantly updates PSN and is getting much better with every update.

No, 360 has more games for another reason. The PS3 is an unncessarily complicated console, and it's way cheaper and easier for developers to make 360 games. Sony were retarded to overlook this flaw with their console, since their PSX defeated N64 for a very similar reason, i.e. being friendly to third-party developers. Sony decided to screw them over, and now they have to suffer in much the same way as N64, Gamecube Jaguar, etc. did.

It costs more to develop games on the PS3, since it's a more complicated process that requires more effort. If you've got a choice to develop a game on one of two consoles, which both have about as many owners, and one's cheaper to develop for, which one would You choose? Exactly. That's why 360 has more exclusives, and why the games that appear on both consoles usually work/look better on 360.

More outcome equals less income, which is the reason Sony has lost the incredibly strong third-party support it once had. Sure, there are now a number of good exclusive games on the PS3, but compare this number to the enormous amount of great exclusive games the PSX and PS2 had, and you realize how much of a failure the PS3 is.

That shouldn't be a factor to one of the reasons like you said, it;s all about cost and I agreed with you on that. If you look at the line up of exclusives coming out for the PS3 next year you wouldn't be saying that it is failing.

I have spent time playing both consoles, while the 360 has some decent games, I have enjoyed my ps3 much more. Also I don't know how everyone can say that ps3 online gaming sucks, kuz I really haven't had any major complaints. We don't typically say that the blu-ray is a sole reason to buy the ps3, but it is a nice feature! And Halo is boring-try MGS4.
