I searched this out after I saw this commercial on Fox news. This claim will not hold up to rational scrutiny. To suggest that the natural emissions of animals is harmful to the planet, yet somehow billions of people subsisting on a diet of beans which causes considerable flatulence is environmentally benign, is one of the most ridiculous things to come along in a long time. The animal rights groups are desperately grasping for ways to promote thier agenda, mandatory vegetarianism....

Alright, I'm just going to try and clarify this with you and everyone else reading; Yes, plants do infact need Carbon Dioxide to survive, but you forgot that Cows need to eat the grass, and we need to have a balance. If we never killed any cows, and never cut down trees to make fields for planting grains for the animals, then there wouldn't be such a problem with food. It takes much less time for plants to grow then animals, and plants have all these nutrients and therefore would benefit usall
