Christmas creep keeps getting worse. First, stores decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving (1960s). Then, they played music before Thanksgiving (1980s). Later, people turned on lights before Thanksgiving and stores decorated before Halloween (1990s). Now, OPENING PRESENTS WELL BEFORE CHRISTMAS is a sure sign that the holiday's original meaning is DEAD!
