If space permits. 1. Lower taxes on income, capital gains, and business to stimulate the economy. 2. Adopt an environmental "Manhattan Project" to eliminate our dependency on foreign oil by drilling for oil here, plus cultivating wind, nucelar, solar, geothermal, clean coil, and other alternative energies. 3. Appoint strict constructionist judges to the Supreme Court 4. Give school choice to parents of students in failing urban schools. 5. Eliminate wasteful spending by vetoing all earmarks.

You asked what were McCain's "plans for the country," not just the economy, and now you're objecting to your own question. And you're factually incorrect about capital gains. More than half of the middle class in this country (including me and millions like me) now has significant investments in the stock market. Capital gains, particularly on dividends which don't even add to our income level, are punishingly difficult to pay even at the present rate. If we all pull out of the market, hoo-boy.

I deal with capital gain every day on dividends, I own a tax office. Taxes on stocks and dividends are unsignificant. This will help more people who buy and sell homes than it will stocks and dividends.

Dividend distributions on mutual funds drive down the worth of the overall portfolio by the exact amount of the distribution. They do not increase one's net assets. In other words, if I receive a $20,000 distribution on a portfolio that had been worth $100,000, that portfolio's value declines down to $80,000. Yet I still pay 15% capital gains tax on the $20,000! And if Obama has his way, I'd be paying 25% tax on this money that I didn't make. You obviously don't own a tax office, liar.

He does not need to take money from public school. He needs to increase money for those schools. He also said that he was going to get rid of bad teacher, its not the teachers, I tutor two boys who school dont have any books

As for your kids being able to afford private school without vouchers, that's all well and good. Why do you want to deny that same opportunity to the children of less affluent families? You realize of course that money wasted on failing public schools is TAXPAYER money. Why the hell shouldn't the taxpayers, whose money it is, have any say over what happens to it? Throwing money at a failing urban school is like flushing it down the toilet. Give those kids a chance to succeed just like your kids.

Here were I live some schools dont have books to give each students, so they are giving them print outs. Were other public schools each kid gets two sets of books, one for school and one for home. Vouchers will only create separate schools, one for blacks and one for whites. Let them go to school together, just improve them
