Batanes Landing!

Like a warm Ireland. Beautiful. I'll be going there next year. My wife says it's the coolest part of the Philippines. Few people, very clean and friendly. I can't wait till I get there. I hear it's the safest island. We want to make an adventure out of our trip there.

@seansean576 Welcome to Batanes! As I replied in Return to Batanes, it's like Ireland if we mean the scenery but the similarity ends there. It's true people are friendly, and the place relatively clean except in some parts of some towns. I hope you'll have a great time!

cherrylovesjibin,...you've well been behind....Asian Spirit ( now Zest Air ) used its BAE-146 jet aircraft to service the manila-basco route.

On take off... a jet aircraft is shown.... dude, you gotta be kiddin me! Since when did BSO/ RPUO [Batanes Airport] accomodate jet aircraft?

Briefly in 2007 Basco entered the jet age with the BAe 146-100 but the airplane has since been retired. Today it's back to the newer turbo-prop (Seair's Dornier 328), just right for the islands' airport and air traffic.
