  • Very nice. Not unique, but nice.

  • This reminds me of the music in Uru in the opening desert level

  • He's doing a Stanley Jordan on that acoustic guitar.

  • This is amazing. Wow! -- Rice

  • strange computer

  • See family guy on the subject, guitar douchebags.

  • nice guitar i got the same exact one ;)

    NiNja ALieN RoBoT GuiTaRiST :)

  • nimporte koi

  • WOW ! that was great Just a wonderful "Trill" to see.

  • nimporte koi surtout kan il comence a frapéé la guitare pffffffffffff comment les gens sont debiiiiiiiiiiiiils

  • iv playted guitar but this style is something i definataley wanna learn, atho itd sound better if u layered it with another guitar... the problem i feel with this style is that there is a lack of structure, anyway good job!!

    plz check out my music

  • good song!

  • needs more variety in parts but good job overall! =)

  • Dont be douchebags. Tappings a pain and im willing to bet half of you people bashing this dude have never touched a guitar in your life, Go fuck yourselves and listen to the music..

Great tune bro, keep em comin.

  • I've been touching guitars for a couple of decades now and this is the kind of stuff I do when I'm drunk. It's decent but it's not sellable. It would be easier to do this than to triple pick arpeggios for 20 mins. Dude has talent, but mostly only guitarists are going to appreciate it.

  • exactly, guitarists are going to appreciate it. it might not be sellable but the guy is out there doing more than half the people leaving comments about his playing, idk, everyones entitled to their oppinion and mine is.. hes doing more than you. thats all, wasnt saying it was good, lol.

  • check out andy mckee.. this guy blows. ahah smack that GUITAR Bit*h. haha

  • I loved this unique type of fingerstyle. Great playing!!!

  • lmao

  • shit hot

  • lmao

  • Aw, are you jealous fanboy? :o( Get yourself some guitar lessons and quit trying to play my chemical romance songs, then you won't have to shit on others because of your jealousy! ^_^

  • Who were you talking to? Whos fan boy?

  • Hm, let's see, who was I talking to? *sarcastic*

"2:53 the fag missed the guitar. That whole song sounded like s.h.i.t." <--I was replying to that.

  • What accident?

  • im afraid at 02:46 :)...nice job but it could be better i think...

  • Lol. 02:46 is scary!

  • i love people that do this! its so sickkkk

  • what ever happened to playing guitar like...normal?

  • I tottally agree -.-'

  • AWSOME DUDE

  • i think not

  • Very nice. Reminiscent of Jesse Cook, whose work I like a lot. Eager to see what other kinds of work you do with the instrument, once you learn to use more than its neck. ;-)

  • That's brilliant...wish I could conjure up something as good as that

  • This is great...really well done...you have talent,

    thanks to share ...

  • Ho my dear your right this is great!!!

    yes Thanks to post,

    Mychele xx

  • O_o omg

  • I think it's pretty good...I wanna see you smart asses do that...

  • nice done good hearing it

  • open d tuning and finger tapping, sounds great, but ? all you can do is one style, think of 100 songs then cool. Eddie VH did crap like this in 1984, and it was the same bs. Just with a lot of distortion and ocassional DDL or Digital delay. Its tough to do, but once youre fingers get the patern, its repeditive.

  • absolutley awsome

  • That was amazing. I am speachless bro.

  • Perfect that technique. Get it sounding as good as Preston Reed.

  • jonob600 is right, i love your techniques

    sounds great

  • rabradek and king boy obviously have no understanding of real music it takes alot of tallent to do somethin like this

  • Wow...very gay and a waste of my eye sight.

  • I think its neat. Keep making music, Jacob.

  • i think its quit nice

  • Yeah, this sucks, even though I'm white.

  • racists... <.<

  • hehe... Accident. i guess this "song"s just kinda riffing out with tapping licks. i dont know. hehehe anyways. that part in 02:46, was that supposed to hit the strings?

  • No creativity, no attractive element. Tapping and touch technique are centuries far more developed than that childish play; no technical attractive. There's not a single musical aspect wich would normaly catch someone's attention. I'd never say it's not music, but it's the most amateur thing I'd be able to think of (I guess I used to make things like that when I had 6 months playing and no musical sense at all). That is less than a poor curiosity, but nowadays surely rubbish sells very well.

  • And you're a stuck up prick.

  • I agree with CaptainCroutons.

  • demasiado fino insuperable

  • wow ..riesci a suonare la toccata di paradisi?

  • it sounds like when a nintendo game freezes and it just keeps looping the same phrase ._.

  • perfectly...

  • was good more felling go go!

    very interesting

  • If you can play Drifting by Andy Mckee, I'd love to see it.

  • this may seem cool, but its really not that hard.

  • it seems the whole video is an accident, it seems like somebody recorded him while he was messing around, thats not a real song, theres no structure at all, its just about 4 parts that he plays for about a minute each at various speeds, that does not make a song.

His technique does seem to be alright but its not astounding at all, theres tons of guitarists as good as him.

  • First of all, "song" is a piece of music written or adapted for singing. Anyway, that is an actual musical composition. And even if it didn't have no structure at all (actually it does), it remains a musical composition. Your statements only show you know nothing about music.

  • Sing Ravels Bolero?

  • Wow....that was very different in a good way though!

  • I guess... there's a bunch of envious guys down on you tube these days.. armchair critics. at the purest forms!!! Yuk!

  • finger tapping is a great technique and he performs it in an astounding way.. well done.

  • but can he play the guitar the real way??

  • nice technique, but sorry, I didn't like the song that much.

  • congrats on getting featured .. check out my guitar tapping video's .. but eh .. I'm a NiNja ALeiN RoBoT GuiTaRiST .. my guitar has been declared a weapon by the guys at AREA 51 .. hahaha

Jeff Williams NiNja ALeiN RoBoT GuiTaRiST :)

  • uh-huh where is the accident?

I thought it will be accident or something, please put a tittle much better.

  • i don't understand..where's the accident?

    When jou'r spanking that poor guitar?To do that,the action must be very low,open G tuning i guess?Grtz,Bluesy

  • "where's the accident?" yeah, am I missing something too? by accident you realized you don't need to strum or pick to still play or play really well? that hammer-on style playing I never could get?

  • The song is playing is called "accident" ;)

  • Wow sgtKean..awesome observation!Did you figured that out by yourself?I wish I was that smart..grtz :D

  • Blue, it was a reply to the guys who didnt get it, Just tried to help them out :)

  • how do you do that without strumming i've always wanted to know

  • I was mesmerized. I've been a musician for 48 years, playing guitar for 36 of them. Aside from the fact that learning to play the guitar in a manner "different" than it's usually played is one thing. The music was beautiful.

  • this is really good your very talented

  • I cant belive theres so many people that are saying it wasnt good. Ive played guitar got two years and i think this guy is good. I love the technique and i love that its purley intrumental.

  • This is week, and i cant even play guitar. but i can hear the mistakes.

  • not the craziest guitar playing i've ever seen and definitely not the best, but its good.

  • Buenísimo.. mas qu original

  • dint sound good to me... good technique tho

  • i respect you

  • Take Michael Hedges, Stanly Jordan, remove all of the melody and motivic development and that's what we have here. Really, this is an already discovered technique without any musicality.

  • wow you can throw around a lot of names but lets see you play what this guy played..... fuckin dumb shit

  • you have skilled hands.I hope you do not brake any rib for entertaining people and calling them to your attention.

  • oh man ..i know you´re a great guitarist but wat the fuck is this. it´s shit!

  • I feel sorry for the people in that bar, having to clap politely to that noise.

  • what the hell is this?

  • this seems like an extravagent "accident". That's my only complaint, and it kind of sounds like the crash test dummies at the beginning. This is some pretty cool stuff, if my guitar had better action I would tap a lot more.

  • you scared me when you hit the guitar man...really, I fucking jump from my chair

  • oh my god, that is so cool.. i wish i could play like that.

  • What a load of shit

  • cool man, keep it up! me from more of a blues side of things but always keen on what's possible otherwise, nice one

  • omg thats crazy that took 4ever to learn ,huh?

  • Obviously some people do not recognize a skilled guitarist when they see one. As for the key and scale, I'll have to do some sound matching but it definately isnt a minor/major pattern, possibly an augmented 7th?

Anyway keep up the great work

  • WOW... this sucks

  • Buddy!! Duskblind is really aewsome!!

almost cried when I heard first time!

  • if you like this style; check out the "late great" Micheal Hedges. .. .... ..

  • not bad...!

  • how the hell does this get half a million views? Learn how to play on key and on scale then repost please

  • to me he seems to have a lot of experience under his hands. did it occur mabye that staying in the same pentatonic key wasn't what he WANTED to do? the keys have been played, i for one respect people who have the initiative to move away from that. just a thought. Very original composition jacob, i liked it a lot.

  • This is not music. Very random. It seems like youre some kinda sportsguy, trying to play the guitar. Allmost anyone can do this!

  • Jealous is a hand dealt to those that wish for greatest but are to focused on others to improve there own merits.

  • Fascinating! I´ve never heard the song or the way to play a guitar before....

  • YOU ARE GREAT.

  • decent technique, but the actual composition/songwriting leaves a little to be desired. the parts where you speed up the tempo are neat but just go on for so long it seems like you're just trying to show off, look at someone like kaki king, she's clearly an amazing player but she does try to drown you in notes

  • holy shit, just because you try to two hand tap on acoustic does not make you andy mckee he WAS NOT the first one to do it, you might as well tell everyone that plays electric guitar that're no eddie van halen, unless they're playing one of andy's songs keep your mouth shut

  • this is a cool song,

isnt it from super mario bros.

  • ide say andy mckee is better but pretty good, 3/5

  • you're not andy mckee and you never will be.

  • 2/5 ffs

  • Amazing!

  • this guy is OK, but the composition is absurd. and this whole +1 -1 rating thing is so stupid.

People with a -1 are the ones who don't like him, people with the +1 are the ones who do like him...

why does disliking a song give you a -1. The idea of commenting is to share your opinion of it. For example, this song is not really a song, it's more of a bunch of exercises. <- My opinion. Now instead of clicking the -1, try refuting it, children.

  • see? +4 already! have faith, we are not all idiots... (song not my cup of tea tho, but not a very common sound i. I guess it might sound like angels to some people!)

  • to add to my previous comment, sorry the cons sounded a bit mean i forgot to mention in some parts it also sounded nice, i think it lost it a tiny bit towards the end though,

if you want inspiration on this kind of music style might i suggest listening to "andy mckee - drifting" type that into you tube, you will like it.

    good work, cya

  • Well done! Great performance, very interesting!

You will love to listen Robert Len Stallard, and reciprocally!!!

  • Very well done. I sense that this fellow is still developing as an artist. Keep it up!

  • this has been saved as a favourit well over a 1000 times , some people like it.

  • people comment this is boring, i thought it was pleasant. u have to be in the mood. i was

  • Boooring.

  • It sounds almost like 50 cent, with a touch of Pavarotti, but not good. It sounds like monkeysoup.

  • Whats with all these Acoustic guitar tapping people? doesnt anyone play with a pick anymore?

  • I like both the technique, performance and the composition. I love guitars, but if slapping them around makes good music, then slap ahead.

  • pros: looked very hard to play, unusual style, also very technical

cons:not really much tune, or pleasent to listen too at some points it just seemed to be going no where.

your number one focus should be on making a good song not something that looks fancy

    good effort

  • Well said. I think this could be a great song for a tense moment in a movie.

  • all the people dissin, come on, either way its a guitar he's playing. if you guys appreciate music you gotta give him some street cred

  • this song was really an accident...

  • I think that this guy has a serious mental problem...dude...you don't just whack your guitar like that...it didn't do anything to you...if you can't play it it is your problem, not the guitar's...

  • boring tune

  • fett

  • ok why is he beating the shit out of his guitar?

  • Nice!!!if you liked this guy check also Andy Mckee.Well done!!!

    9

  • No bad, but too much easy and without a real sense. You're often out of time with your bass just to appear fast. Try to hear a little bit more of Michael Hedges.

  • Like much more Kaki King!

  • what the fuck?!@ he like beats the shit out of his guitar.. and it seems like its just a random basic arrangement of weird tapping.... yeah idunno just seems like not very experienced to me

  • Maistro, mijn complimenten.

Weer een andere wereld van hamer on and pull of, hoe heet dit, collega? Another realm in hammeron and pulloff, do you nknow how you call this technique?

Sounds like and very old clavecimbl.

    Keep up the practice, sir.

    Sincerley

    CorRoemersma

  • nice but wierd thats a real beauty alvarez yairi dy 88

  • i lost 4 minutes in my life that never will back whatching this !!!

  • I think its lovely

  • adadaa

  • cool youre great, man!

  • A little basic/elementary. Still enjoyable listen though.

  • pavo!

  • my dad can do that hes still teaching me

  • *Yawn*

Pretty boring. Seems like a simple exercise to me.

Check Stanley Jordan for true two hand tapping virtuosity and feeling.

  • I can appreciate the sound and approach, but I agree about Stanley; he's bad and waaaaay more natural.

  • He's good guitar player, but the video is just 4 minutes of the same thing over and over again.

  • yeah,.... I agree... its the same thing over and over, fast and slow, slap here, slap there.... That more sounds like an exercise for fingertapping to me

  • its shit ,he only show how he can play on guitar ... melody is where? that was only up and down on guitar, fast and slow

  • odd...but cool to watch :)

  • I thought that the 'accident' may have involved him becoming tangled in the guitar strings - I'm a bit disappointed.......

  • i thought the same shit

  • well, he done very good job even with funny style of playing on guitar
