The "Eagle" Knife Review

I use Mora knives, but I break them trying to cleave big pieces of wood. I guess I should find some big knife, similar to this one, for bush-crafting. I have actually thought about using an old lawnmower blade to make one

That is indeed a great knife! So far I have only smaller knives, and a small axe on camping trips

thats a great knife.i made a chopper patterned like the tom brown tracker .i forged it out of a leaf spring,its a good chopper to. i will have to try a horse rasp next. great video

try going to a tandy leather or S and T leather or the leather wharehouse. Also you can check google for any upcoming mountain man rendezvous in your area, some one there will probably be selling leather or at least tell you a local place to go.

I was hoping for a review on this knife. I know you are swamped with requests so I figured in due time it would happen. over all I like the style and usefulness of this blade, After seeing the video of the making of this knife I went to 2 Goodwill stores and found three files to create my own using a forge I built 9 years ago. Your videos are an inspiration and very helpful. The Eagle is a great bush knife, Looking forward to the making of my own! Thanks for another great video David.

I saw your baton! I saw one on another vid having a shorter handle and longer club head. It was used with a froe.
