Large websites like Youtube are usually about 90% automated and so trying to reason with them becomes pointless. Most emails are received by bots. That's why the most ridiculous things end in suspension.

Welcome back Hugh! Sadly, the email address change is an old one. Never known anyone get unsuspended from that. Have got quite a few unsuspended for copyright and other reasons.

It might have been fun to have kept the "maybe it's a fake" controversy running for a few more days :)

YouTube is stupid. Have they given a response to your explanation of what happened (the changing of email address)? You'd think they'd just un-ban you so you can change the e-mail address back to the "OK" one.
