I was in 8th Grade when I watched them on Sat morning tv and thought they were the sexiest guys Evah... lol...now I'm 46 and can sing every word to all the songs... how nostalgic... Eric... I still love you:)
When was this? Maybe 74 or 75? The scary thing is that I remember the lyrics. I can't remember where I put my wallet five minutes ago, but I remember these lyrics from almost 40 years ago.
The real Bay City Rollers never played in Toronto at all! The recording company used doubles of them and low light conditions along with sound syncing to make it appear that they were in person but sadly they were never in Toronto.
Yes the album is definitely called Dedication (the title track is one of my favs) and the shot inside the album is from TO. I was not there, but I remember every move they made back then.
This is a cover the original is from an Australian 1970's pop star called John Paul Young. It was huge in Australia in 1975. JPY had international success with "love is in the air" from the Australian Movie Strictly Ballroom.
Remake of a song produced by Vanda and Young for John Paul Young in Australia. (JPY was Scottish born)

I wish it was still possible for talented people to become successful no matter how ugly they were.
