@orkkilla5589 Dude, it was not a copy of warhammer 40k. Starcraft came out in 1998, I know this because I have played it since the first day it came out. Starcraft is a computer game, whereas Warhammer 40k is a table top miniature game. Those are two completely different genre's. Have you ever played Starcraft? If so, you have played one of THE most balanced RTS games known to man.

@shadowtygo Well.. I mean, the races thing is a bit weird but the storyline is nothing like starcraft, unless you are seeing it as if fighting aliens would be the part they were inspired by. But even then, lots of movies back before games like starcraft and halo, even warhammer, they were fighting aliens. I just hate when people say Halo copied off of starcraft, even tho it is nothing like it. Halo's most famous pieces of the storyline are from the Bible.

But really, bungie was inspired by the Super Heroes when they made the idea of Spartans rather than being inspired from games. Bungie wanted to make a sci-fi game but with Heroes like Master Chief, so they had to obviously make him realistic. Now the idea of " Space Marine " I want you to take a look at the Marines from the first doom which was in space, and look at every super soldier's armor, it looks similar in a sci-fi way

@Rulictar thats what i was getting at Scifi's are never orignal except for storyline they all have pretty unique "Too some extent" storylines that includes both SC and Halo but the games CANNOT be better due to popularity some people like C&C some people like SC, same with halo some may like it some may like COD4 or whatever it's more of what you grew up with, that's why i like SC better i played it since 2000 while i only started halo in '07 it comes down to preferance..
