@CyanideV Shamisen players tune randomly. So a lot of tunes in a specific key turn out in random keys when transcribed for Shamisen . unless the player happens to have perfect pitch, but even then, Shamisen players tend to adjust to a key that is comfortable for the string tension and fingering. for example something in the key of F# major would be too tight on the strings so would probably end up played in C or D major.
That has happened to me, too! More than 748,930,224 times (a mere approximation) I've done just what you did, but for me it only led to glory and wretched satisfaction. That is to say, I need 5 bucks. Would you loan me five bucks, please?
Without releasing me, would you try and go for a result that leaks (figuratively) the incorrect tents? That is to say,
under what year might we realize just who you are? Am I being unfair? We might point to the ugliest ground if we need to, so that's gonna be OK! Next, I'd like to settle our wager; "During the underworld, he NEEDS for what reason?" is my favorite quote. I win the bet, no?
i was learning to play this song on the piano. but i never got the chance to finish it because i lost the notes to it years back. D: but now i know the name of it and i might pick up on it again, man ou guys play so awesome <3 i love all your songs !
This is awesome, I want some buddies like that to rock out with to Bach, me on piano, then we have two voices plus a third and forth of the same two voices, so more power.
I know what you mean, musicalmichaeltran. I never liked the shamisen when I was younger. As I got older I began to get a feel for the music and was exposed to (corrupted by?) the new California Shamisen music. Now I'm thinking about digging up a lot of money and learning to play.
I made a solemn oath not to inflict my music on the public until I learn at least one song. I'm working on Waido Bushi, but it takes time to get started.
This morning I was thinking of how "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" would sound as a tsugaru duet. Have you considered that one?
Thanks for the comment. If you want more just look! We have posted over 300 videos of our Shamisen adventures! We have covered everything from Heavy Metal to classical to movie theme music on the Shamisen. check it out! (Monsters of Shamisen)

DZAUDZI69 1 year ago
@DZAUDZI69 Yeah, but I guess that's how a Tsugaru shamisen is tuned for this song. Still good though.

@EvanWang999 Thank ya ^^. It's transposed to B minor, but I love it. I like playing it with my piano all the days. xD

It's amazing how Bach comes ACROSS - REGARDLESS of the intrument.
It's like he found the CODE of Music itself.
Nice work guys - should be interesting to hear some well-tempered clavier pieces too.

these guys are so good, but the instruments themselves produce much more unwanted noise than the music supposed to be played.
anyway there is no doubt bach is mad cool, and this piece sounds the best at a harpsichord.

No. It's a "2 voices invention". It's just a melody and a counterpoint. Period.
