@Alantime95 Well It's obvious at least for me, that San Sebastian is a metaphore to a girl that he was attracted by. He regrets turning back on her but soon he realisses that San Sebastian "was to hot for me" so he indicates that he wasn't capable of being with the girl. But still he is glad that he knew her for so long time so the pain of being rejected is lesser, as he knows the girl wasn't able to stay within one relationship, or at least she has overexagerrated ego.

@OneLitreOfSilence As I'm spanish, the first time I saw the video I understood that the girl was from San Sebastian or something . Don't know, I'm from Seville, at the south of Spain, but San Sebastian is on the North, and is not a hot city, in fact it's always raining there. So, that song was weird.

This seems to be from a girl he (anyone in the band, or anyone familiar) couldn't make a relationship with. I think. So... Will you forgive my ignorance?

@Alantime95 If Sonata is indeed referencing *the* San Sebastian, then the metaphor likely represents his love for the girl (he never actually says he loves her). By that I mean that in such a rainy and (from his perspective) depressing place, this one girl represents the light and warmth of his life- his sun. It kinda shows how he is so focused on her that his life literally revolves around her.

And, of course, the rest of the song is his struggle to realize dreams =/= reality.
