Holly was getting huge checks from people like Lady Gaga and Nicole Miller, but was matching those donations with RANDOM PEOPLE. She broke the rule and cheated to get that win! NOBODY KNOWS THIS!
Bret was acknowledged on ADA for donating $390,000, but what about Holly? Her What happened to the money she got from Sharon and teammates? She put it into her foundation and who knows how she is using that money.
Bret was the right person to win. He was 2-0 as project manager, and Holly was 1-2. I'm glad both Holly and Brett got $250,00 for their charity. The pros and cons for each weighted similarly. At this finaly judging, Brett only had an edge up regarding the inside of his brochure. Holly should have been the Celebrity Apprentice but "popular expectation" to include in the mix Bretts recent medical condition produced an unprecedented mandate of sorts that he be chosen. When it is "personal and not business"! Also, Holly's "business traveler's lodging" should have won!

Apparently you did not watch the show. Bret was the hardest working member of the show, he was PM twice and both times he won. Even when he's not, he worked the most. He is smart, loyal and fun to work with. Unlike Holly, she lost all except calling one rich friend for money!

@slikkwon well i guess just you. Im not a reality tv watcher. I think 99% suck and a waste of time in peoples lives. I like Celeberity Apprentice because its for a good cause and they have to work to earn it. Yeah they work for the cam sometimes but who doesnt. Just think about the end result.

Let's face it. Holly was the true winner of the show. Everybody at that live studio knew it, and admitted that it was more about popularity and sympathy this time. I think Donald Trump just decided to give the majority of America what they wanted--to see the fallen "All-American" rockstar triumph. It's good for ratings, it makes for a great Lifetime movie, whatever...I'm just happy that both charities got sponsored.

Lets face it, they are hiring an apprentice here, not a fundraiser... bret was a better APPRENTICE. The big winner here though is the charities.

@superx57 bret was 3 times-- the third victory being the snapple drink... HRP was only 2-4 or 1-4... and the thing she won was solely on money- they execs didnt like her workout routine! Nothing against her, but Bret got along with everyone, and made smart decisions along the way... yes he is a bit aloof, but still rocked it and was undervalued from the beginning! HRP didnt want to use cindy lauper on a vocal track! Bad decision IMO

@superx57 Holly wasn't the true winner. He didn't win because of his condition. He won because he did the task better. Throughout the show, Bret did everyone's work. Even when he wasn't project manager, he did people's work for them. Bret is the winner. Bret commercial was better and his product was better. Bret is the apprentice and he deserved it. Even if he didn't have that condition , he would have still won.

@savior02 Again, popularity over merit. Look, I'm not the only person who believes Holly should've won. The very first apprentice Bill Rancic thought she should've won. Joan Rivers also thought Holly was the best, but she thought Donald should "go with his heart" and choose Brett.

@superx57 How can you say that? Bret was 2-0 as PM He never lost as PM he raised 140,000 for his chairity. Holly as PM was 1-2 a losing record as PM and yeah she won 347,000 for here chairity but that was from the other team too so it's not like Holly won all that money herself. Bret worked hard and never threw anyone under the bus. Holly regulary threw people under the bus.

Holly had the most losses this season and she should have been fired more times than Bret. Bret was always the most hard working and always did the best job. Not a pity win at all.

@silvereagle2061 Bret worked his ass off in every single task. He was creative but still controllable. He never threw anyone under the bus, he just made always his best, always 100%. He won both his tasks as Project Mgr... That's what he's done.
Holly was good, too, but she was best in moneyraising - and while it may be tough in its own way, I think it's not that hard. Besides, Holly did throw people under the bus, when she needed that.
So no, I don't think it was a decision based on sympathy.

He missed a half of one project in which he came back and helped finish the task. He was also the most creative hard working player on the show. He deserved to be there and win it!

Apparently you did not watch the show. Bret was the hardest working member of the show, he was PM twice and both times he won. Even when he's not, he worked the most. He is smart, loyal and fun to work with. Unlike Holly, she lost all except calling one rich friend for money!

Congratulations to Bret! I think this was a perfect ending and in a sence they both sort of won because they were there to get money for their charity - an they did!. Let's face it, it is just a title. I ended up really respecting Bret even before the medical issues. Great show and great season.
