This was such a beautiful movie. I definitely had to grab a box of tissues - I couldn't help but feel bad for Takaki. The poor guy was so heartbroken.

It really hits home because everyone knows, or will know, what it's like to be in that position; loving someone but not being with them.

This movie made me cray, especially at the end of episode 2, mostly because I had gone through a similar experience, I felt so sad for Kanae, I wanted to tell her that she wasn't alone.

The rest of the movie was touching as well. Once these credits came on, I didn't move a muscle, and I just watched and listened.

This movie was so incredibly touching and visually stunning. I won't ever forget it.

I think that only proves he:

1. found his first love naive and kept a kind of bittersweet memory of it.
