I lost my dad this year of 2009 to cancer. My story is long and in some parts heart breaking. I have had a long hard year. He had it 3 times in one year. I sat there the day he died and told him it was ok to go home as long as he came back and got me one day. This was one of his fave songs and we played it at his funereal. It was hard for me to watch him die and I miss him. I often believe my life has fallen apart. This song and Alabama helps me with a little faith.

The funeral home directors made a video of pictures of both of my grandparents, and this song was on my grandma's and everytime i hear this song i think of her and my grandpa and end up like now bawling my eyes out.

I first heard this song when I found out that I was pregnant. I knew that it was my sign of the angel that I was carrying. He is truly my angel and has taught me to love and live. He guides me through all the darkest times by giving me hope when I need it the most.. He is definitely MY angel.

i lost my mom when i was 5 she drugged her self and we all had a melt down when we found out my mom was the oly person left in my family now im livng with my grandma and she 75 and every noes she wont live 4 ever so my life is really hard and i ever new my dad so i cant say ny thig about him =(

I lost my dad this year of 2009 to cancer. My story is long and in some parts heart breaking. I have had a long hard year. He had it 3 times in one year. I sat there the day he died and told him it was ok to go home as long as he came back and got me one day. This was one of his fave songs and we played it at his funereal. It was hard for me to watch him die and I miss him. I often believe my life has fallen apart. This song and Alabama helps me with a little faith.

Ask him for signs that he is watching over you like leaving you feathers or coins and I'm sure if you haven't already gotten some signs you will. XX

@TheSoulOfSong i feel your pain. My mother and my father died because my father had cancer, but weirdly my mom died from when I was born, so I am an orphan. I pray every single night, pleasing God to at least show me them with me. Only I never saw them die, so I bet your pain is even worse.

@TheSoulOfSong I'm sorry to hear about your father, but you know he's watching over you and always will, i bet it broke his heart to have you there watching him passing away but also made him happy to know you love him and understand. just remember when it seems like everything is falling apart he's always there with you :) I have to remember that too i lost my father when i was 6 i'm now 21 I wish you the best in all you do

My god-sister was kidnapped and murdered at 7 years old. 2 days into her 1st grade year. This song was played by request of her mother at her funeral. This song holds a dear spot in my heart. Its my link to Kristi. I can only imagine what she went through, and this song gives me faith. She is safe now, with no pain, in our loving Fathers hands. I love and miss you Kristi. me and my brother lost our mom aug. 8 '08.....she past and we re-hung an angel picture she had since we were little.....she had to take it down cause it scared me.......lol...that same picture the picture I've never seen other than hanging on our wall or in our storage.....showed up at 00:58.......Thank you for the sign that you are with us still mom.....we love you and one day the 3 of us will be together again....

I lost my grandma to a heart attack 6 months after my grandpa died from a 10 month battle with lung cancer. The funeral home directors made a video of pictures of both of my grandparents, and this song was on my grandma's and everytime i hear this song i think of her and my grandpa and end up like now bawling my eyes out.

Great song and video...lost my babies last September in first trimester...it was either their mom or them, I wouldn't wish the burden of having to go through that choice onto anyone. Had the name Angelika already picked out and found out there was also a boy...never got to name him, but I know they are both angels in heaven and will always be in my heart.
