Doctors diagnose one's sickness [ailments,problems etc.] and treat one's symptoms. Only God can heal, [...by his (Jesus) stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5. We are FREE from the wages of sin which is death according to God's Holy Law.

Sin IS transgression OF the Law.

SALVATION is by Grace through faith and NOT of God's Law. It's a gift through the works Christ did FOR us, PERIOD!

Does this 'Abolish' God's perfect Law? Of course not, we ESTABLISH God's Law and uphold it all the more, but not for our own justification, but because we Trust God and because we are HIS people, but knowing we cannot EARN Salvation. Obedience is the result of Faith.
