@wuannetraam hahaha you must not know how it works. a production company hires a producing company. the production company gives them a budget (the 850 here) then the producing company makes the film. the producing company then gets paid partially from the releasing of the movie. (box office sells, dvds, rentals) the production company who paid for the budget then keeps the rest. so when hiring the production company looks for whoever can make the best movie the cheapest.

@ETslugger21 that's not always how it works. You might be lucky if you get a percent from the box office sells,dvd's. A lot of times you get hired and you decide what your hour rate will be. You get paid by the hours you work on it.

So if every new graduate tell the production companys they can make hollywood effects for just $750 or less then they don't show respect to the actual vfx guys who work their asses of.
