I've researched several different kit planes to build. I seriously considered a Sonex because it is about $4,000 cheaper. After flying a CH2000 Alarus (the mother plane that the Zodiac was tailored after), I am sold on the Zodiac 601. Hopefully within the next six months, I will be working on it in my basement. I live on a 2600' grass runway so my final assembly can be done in my 2 1/2 car garage. WOW....what a dream come true!
Too bad the wing blocks the ground view..

@LTF85199 - Most pilots seem to prefer the visibility from a low wing plane over a high wing (though you can certainly debate pros and cons of each).
