It had started long time back, U.S was actually the supporter of these religios groups, the Mujahedin, you may be know it that they were not only pashton, but tajik, uzbeks etc. At that time when these groups were getting money and weapons none was bothered about of each other religion. I dont defend talibans but we can not blame Islam for what is happening down there. It is thirst after power, dominance and oil.

Clearly the people who wrote the lyrics were speaking out of pure emotion and bias and not logic.. the reason for Afghanistan's destruction is not Islam like these people ignorantly assume. It is easy to see the surface of things; to say that because the taliban have a beard and claim they're Muslims that ISLAM is to blame. This is not a wise thing to assume.. if you compare the taliban's policies with Islam, you will see the harsh differences that people fail to grasp.

Islam came to solve problems and bring peace in arabia and now it is being used as a tool for dirty politics of different political groups, even in islamic countries. most of the things talibans did in afghanistan was against islam. Hope for a peaceful and better world. :)
