One thing that has often blessed Pyatt is that he has had relatively good hands (or at least a relatively good wrist shot). When he was a Canuck, though, the coach et co. tended to place him much too high on the forward lines' roster for whatever reason. He also didn't have any major-league level moves almost at all, was quite soft (especially considering his big-time size), and was more than sluggish and slow.

He seems like more than a good, true-to-his-heart, classy guy who has endured a lot.
