i went last week for the first time...been waiting 4 years and it was so worth it! I was the last person the leave the theatre (even had ushers giving me pointed looks...lol) but I'm moving to Perth in january so I'll have to go everytime I come east to visit ppl...lol!
*jumps up and down impatiently* If my Mum doesn't buy tickets soon I'm gonna sell my liver for cash and buy them myself!!! :P Shame it's expensive...but then again, it IS Wicked (with 100% Aussie talent)
They're professionals, they should know how to look after their voices properly. You don't have much to worry about there ;) Nodules take a long time to develop.
Plus, from what I've heard, the understudies are fabulous as well, so you'll get a good show regardless of cast. I understand about the tickets though! :)

Wow, a lot of talking about preserving their voices.... I've got tickets for Nov 1, I hope they don't get nodules before then!
And of course, I care about their health more generally.
Expensive tickets though.
