The original P42 has a top speed of 106 MPH. P42DC's now only have a top speed of 110 MPH. Do your research.

Yes, it does look like it's going really fast but I bet it's going slower than the Acela Express on the NEC which goes up to 150 mph.

This train is only going about 50 mph because a big turn is just a head. I like that title "super speed". Up close, it does look fast. What is odd here in Michigan City, another train will go the other direction a few mins later on one track,,,how do they do that and keep it safe?

@303patrick The train has the capability to travel at 110 mph (about 177 km/h), but this train only looks like it's traveling at about 60 mph at the moment of the video shot.
