From the Zappa WIKI: Recorded in concert at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA on November 1, 1975. ... . Bitchin' melodica solo too!
@skinupfast Hi This album was part or included in a bootleg set of three album that were available way back in time around 70,71, Held these and was intently fascinated at this particular cut. Very difficult to find nowdays I would guess. The guitar work. I think I will catch a plane to netherlands, this is the area of the world to find the most incredible FZ material of this nature. Thanks, out
Great version, only I miss Aynsley Dunbar. Groove drummers like Bozzio and the army of post-1972 Zappa percussionists--each one more technically amazing than the last--just don't do it for me. Dunbar's thing is all tension, dynamics--and chops! What can I say?
amazing. listening to Frank for 40 years, never heard this version of Chunga.

......... THIS is a great version of "Chunga`s Revenge" and it ends so abruptly.........."Chunga`s Revenge": one of the best compositions of FZ!!!

Terry "Ted" Bozzio first played with FZ in 1975... There is a good possibility this is Aynsley Dunbar heard playing.

@dantean I love Aynsley Dunbar's work on Bowie's Diamond Dogs. It's both subdued and epic at the same time.

"1980 Floor Show" from 1973 w Aynsley (& Mick Ronson) "1984" and "Can't Explain" that are monster!
