I have this on the K-Tel LP "Starflight" which I already posted, but it got faded out instead of skipping. The single version had a fade out, but the album version had the skipping at the end. Can you tell the difference.
Thanks for the upload. I still remember when my older sister Steph brought this 45 home. At the time I thought that this was the weirdest song that I had ever heard, but after a couple of days, I couln't stop playing it. It's just a catchy tune that you have to love.
I know it sounds weird... but I just love the Sire label! It was always there and felt familiar and always had my favorite songs on it. I remember Yazoo and the Sire labels so clear in my head.....veeeeerd!
@guyla Sire has kept a consistant look to their labels. The only difference is the Sire logo went from a bigger blue logo to a smaller purple tone logo in 1985
@vinyl12s Add to that two distribution changes with that same label design (from Dot Records/Famous Music in 1972 to ABC Records two years later and finally to Warner Bros. in 1978).
This label design went from Focus ("Hocus Pocus") to the Climax Blues Band ("Couldn't Get It Right") and beyond (M, Talking Heads, the Ramones, Tom Tom Club, Madonna).
@SeanElGatoTelevision So true. To be honest I have never seen a pre-Climax Blues Band Sire release.I never knew Sire was out that far back (Focus is 1973). Thanks for the trivia info :)
The end of the LP verison sounds Max Headroom-Headroom-Headroom-Headroom!
