  • der fährt im 2ten auch knapp über 100 tacho km/h

  • 3 cylinders in aygo do that noise,,, its a bit fast cause it has very small and thin tyres, its 3 cylinder, its a bit nervous and it weights less than 800 kg.. so.. put it down and see why it gets easy at 100 for 1000cc.. but after that , the engine has to push it, and its not doing it good comparing with its accelaration.weight rules , physics rules...

  • The noise at 0.4 sec is a typical problem of clutch ! i think you must change ...

  • @mauser68 open ur ears, its teh tyres trying to get a grip

  • @mauser68 It's tyres...

  • @mauser68 in 0.4 you look like you have a typical problem of ear! i thing you must change

  • @mauser68 must change what?i bought citroen c1 few days age it has same noise

  • Good shot! 10.5 secs...

    My best is 12,0...:(

  • but he started at 30kph?

  • Nevermind, i just missed the 1st second lol

  • very clever to bust the engine that way when it's still nearly brandnew... such actions should be waited with till about 2500 km or you are that rich to feed it with 2 liters of oil per 100 km... have fun...

  • Almost nine with 40000km? For your information, my Aygo does not consume a drop d' oil, no addition between 2 drainings! Good continuation;)

  • downhill

  • Of course that not!

  • great

  • Aygo has max power at 6000rpm and max torque at 3600rpm. So changing at 6200rpm is the best way to do a good accelleration time.

It has a good sound beacuse is 3 cylinders, so in stock mode has already a very good sound.

I'm waiting to buy for this car a complete Italian exhaust (by CECAM), sport filter, sprt spark plugs and an ECU chiptuning!

  • I can really recommend the upgrade spark plugs for this car. I really notice more performance. You will need these:

    Denso Iridium IKH20

  • Hey dude, that's some amazing acceleration! I just bought an Aygo myself and i'm just learning to appreciate the fun this tiny car has in store for me. Btw, rookie question: Could you lay out a 'manual' of some kind to achieve this kind of acceleration? Ex. 1st gear / shift at 5500rpm, 2nd gear, shift at 3300rpm... etc. ??

  • that was 10.4 secs!

  • do you got a sport exhaust or a speacial air filter ??? ..thats an amaizing sound

  • Nothing

  • German Autobild clocked 12.6s for the sprint 0-62MpH.

Britisch CAR-Magazine wrote that the engine sounds like the half of the straight six engine of the BMW M3. I recently drove an Z4 M Coupe ( with the straight six M-engine) and a Toyota Aygo and I must admit the Toyota sounds wonderful and really has the same tune like the BMW engine... and there is a slight hint of a ferrari too! Not kidding!

  • nice dude ;)

  • by how many rpm u drag?

  • ~3500/3800rpm

  • by +- how many rpm u switched from 1st to 2nd gear? cause it was on the perfect time

  • Towards 5500rpm

  • Yep it's a standard engine. I have driven a ferarri 355 round silverstone, this car is just as much fun, and just as noisy for less than a tenth of the original price.

I want one, I'm in 3 minds whether to get a Clio, a Megane, or an Aygo.

    What do you all think?

  • Today, with the regulations road, ecological and economic, the purchase of sporting to roll the every day is a pure madness. Important is to have a reliable car to bring us point A to the point B, without stress and if possible in good mood. On the contrary nothing will be worth a motor bike, for these acceleration flash, while remaining in the speed limits.

The advantage of Aygo it is its engine sympatic, economic (5L/100), its reliability and its price with the purchase and maintenance!

  • Awsome. Very fast.

  • Yes

  • sounds good is - it a standard engine?
