I was a great fan of him. I remember him in all those finals and after 1980 when he leaded the Italian team Tilli-Simionato-Pavoni-Mennea to silver medal in 4x100 after USA in the first edition of World Championship in Helsinky 1983. I still rememeber his fifth Olympyc Games when he reached 1/4 of finals in Seul 1988 when he was 40 and then he decide to retire. Thanks again.
