@Dmoeski Speaking as a white dude who's also been a fan since Dookie, I wanted to say that you're the first black guy I've ever known to say they like Green Day, and I think that's really cool. I had *kind of* a reverse experience the first time I heard the band Living Colour. When I found out that they were an all-black hard rock/metal band, that just made me love them more because they completely went against the musical stereotype you spoke of. They're really good and heavy as shit too.
